This is actually a real legal strategy taught in law schools. Its worthwhile posing an objection, even if its overruled, to disrupt the logical progression of your opponents argument.

That quiveering look while Annie is celebrating is damn good acting. Remember this is supposed to be a sitcom that focuses on 7 main characters, yet the secondary ones were what really elevated this show.

I think Annie's cross examination here is one of her best scenes. I love how she can't resist rubbing it in with the "BOOYAH!" and Jeff sits there thinking "...I may have done some damage here"
No he's sitting there like "something doesn't add up. Why would it be hot?"
She was so sweet and innocent in the first episode of Season 1. Hanging out with Jeff have changed her bit lol
Nah, she's gonna have a hella lot of great scenes. Annie was the character who progressed the most through the seasons and didn't get boring like for example Jeff or Britta.

Me too. He seemed like a sweet guy, just trying to live a decent life. I know this is a comedy, but I don't get why they are constantly bullying him, like in other episodes they were so mean to him

@@Voronoff That's basically it. It's like the cast of seinfield when we find out how everyone else feels about the starring cast members to find out that people hate them. More than once, we've seen how much people in Greendale can't stand 'The Greendale 7' like when students commented how they actually felt like they were learning more when the group wasn't there because they had a tendency to make everything about them.
@@demoblaster Don't forget that the group nearly pushed Neil to the edge of suicide, Jeff by giving him the name Fat Neil and then Pierce by using that name.
They took control of the entire school's chicken fingers supply, Jeff and Annie made the Student President debate about the two of them, Annie leaked to everyone that Chang wasn't a qualified Spanish teacher and wasted everyone's semester, Troy and Abed started the blanket fort vs pillow fort war which Jeff escalated because he hated homework.
Everyone in the group ruined things all the time but Jeff is especially unbearable and selfish. And I'm also guessing that the Dean's obsession with this group simply because it is diverse didn't sit too well with the other students either. The guy literally warned them first personally when a fire broke out because he wanted them to escape first.
I had seen this scene a dozen times but this was the first time I caught Annie's "always have an exit strategy" line delivered toward the officer who served in the Iraq war. Sharp.

For years I always thought the Law & Order bit of saying something cutting and defamatory only to quickly yell “Withdrawn!” was always a little much. The fact this episode plays that up makes me laugh every time.
This episode truly showed the insanity of the study group, I kinda feel bad for Todd because they were so mean to him, however, I still love this episode thanks for uploading.
If Todd had've just told them what happened in the first place then all of it wouldn't have happened.

He is just thinking about what message he send to her. As he was a lawyer his intention was always to win & Annie is someone who always search for truth. Instead of truth she wanted to win. I think that is the reason why he was surprised

I love so many of Annie's facial expressions throughout this whole series. But this face right here 2:51 for some reason just gets me. It's my favorite one. She's so alive! She's such a magnetic and versatile character.

Der Typ everybody on the internet should be banned from using that word [‘underrated’]. It’s not enough for some people to just like what they like, it has to be unpopular as well, as if that somehow ultra-validates their opinions above most else’s because they appreciated something that few else did.
@@neontime8507 don't think it's inaccurate, I mean it got last seasons picked up by Yahoo and have never heard of it except from CZcams or looking up "who created Rick and morty"
It's not enough because some exec decides its not worth making more based on numbers alone, so yes that happened many times with it.
There are other series that got totally cancelled, so the reason 'underrated' because they get stopped before the plot even gets tied up. Ratings are not necessary indicative of the show, often publicity, network, time aired.
It's literally one of the best rated episodes on IMDB, you moron

Not really. The popping pills and perfect record comment fits, but she doesn't drink and she states early in the first season that she lost her virginity due to her addiction prior to the show.

Clearly they've never met me. If you admit to something but not all of it, most people will accept the lies 100% truth because you have admitted something bad that you have done, which most people in such a situation would not be willing to admit as it may increase suspicion, when counterintuitively it decreases it
