This excursion was by far my favorite, and getting to see the country side, and the mountain views in peurto plata was amazing.
But nothing topped the views from the ziplines as you speed over the crystal blue ocean.
This cruise vacation excursion and destination was a dream come true.

What are you using for filming during zipline- looks like they had a spot of the helmet for you to attach? Great video!
At that time I had the GoPro hero 5 black and I brought the helmet mount with me. I got go pro max now! Thanks for the great comment 😊
I had the insta360 not with me at the time it got rained on while flying Drone in st Thomas I got go pro max now

Yes you can I'm pretty sure the one thing to look out for and ask about is the bus remember the bus I was on I believe every one was accounted for because I bought the excursion through carnival cruise line so I would speak to them about getting on the bus there I hope this helps
Question! Did you use the adhesive mount? Or did they already have helmets with the mounts?
they had the helmets with the mounts you need the clip tho for the camera

The helmet they gave me had the mount on it already I have the clip that goes onto the camera and fits into the mount
3 minutes in, there is rum punch. I've been trying to find that drink mix they have been using. It says "Barcelo" which is a kind of rum. I was wondering what they used as a mixer. Had this in jamacia and still cant find it anywhere.

Are you able to skip the over ocean zip line and go on the rest?
Yes you can skip the zipline
What's the name of this zip line location? Is it offered by Carnival?
Yes it's an excursion offered by carnival
Be sure you are in VERY GOOD health! This means able climb 6 or 8 flights of stairs and do a cardo work out several times a week and have the upper body strength to do a few pullups if need be. Your abs need to be in good condition too. Only helmet attached cams are allowed! GOPRO make a clip attachment but they only had 1 helmet with the receiver. Another person had the strap-on attachment for the helmet and they allowed that. If the gear they give you looks old or worn ask for something newer. I was left short of all the landings because the bearings were worn out in the rollers I was given and I had to pull myself the rest of the way hand over hand, one was about 10 foot short. There are 5 Lines of various lengths arranged in a circle starting and ending near the same beach so it's a short walk. Take a small lock with you for the locker so you don't need to pay $5 for a tiny luggage lock at the gift shop. You are not allowed to leave anything on the bus and you can't take anything with you on the zipline. Staff was friendly but it helps if you speak Spanish or go with someone who does. It was fun but 67 is a little too old.
Is there a weight limit?
I don't believe there was I don't remember seeing anyone saying anything about it when I wat at the zipline but I booked the excursion through carnival so the travel agent could tell you all the details for sure if there's a weight limit etc
What's the name of this excursion
This one was called ziplining over the ocean make sure when you are at the excursion area or at the excursion desk beforehand on the cruise ship to tell them you want the zip lining over the ocean not in the jungle there's one in the jungle only I believe the one I did was on the beach I tried to find it on the website and it looks like they might have changed the name of the excursion since I did this one.

I dont believe so as the ziplines are connected in a circle
yes you can choose not to go on them and do the other stuff at the beach eat drink etc
