This is by far the best looking estate ever in its class currently on sale. I cannot think of any other stationwagon in the non-premium segment which is not only beautiful but can also achieve a top speed of 270 km/h GPS speed.

Genau richtig, er ist nur 2 liter, dafür aber sehr stark und ist nicht so teuer wie 5 liter Autos

Slowly im starting to believe that a 2 Liter is a big engine for todays standards
It fits well in any size of car, from small hatches to big sedans. More than this and you only gets too much power that you can't use most of the time, and harder maintenance with hefty repair bills.

Den Arteon Shooting Brake als Fünfzylinder - ein kleines Träumchen! Von mir aus auch limitiert wie der Cupra Formentor VZ5. Würde sogar in die Historie passen. Vor 40 Jahren gab´s VW Passat und VW Santana als Topmodelle auch mit Fünfzylinder-Motor.
Am Anfang fast aus der Bahn geworfen 😅👌🏼😆. Aber wieder gefangen. Top! Wunderschöner VW!

i got H&R Springs and K&N air filter and i love it. GPS says 276 Km/h and over 285 km/h on the speedo. so fun to drive and funny to see way more expensive cars beeing limited to 250 km/h and overtake them

I just picked up an X demo 2022 R line 206 with 1500 miles. I’m enjoying the car, dose anyone know what sort of tune I should be looking at if I wanted a little more power ?
Really disappointed we can't get this car or very many estates in the US. It would be a nice family upgrade from the GTI.
Ich habe eine Frage zu den Felgen: ich MUSSTE bei meinem Angebot die 20 Zoll Felgen dazu nehmen. Sind die denn noch komfortabel? Ist der Unterschied zu den 19 Zöllern sehr groß? Ich komme relativ günstig an 19 Zöller ran, deshalb die Frage.
Ja, der Komfort ist auch noch mit den 20 Zoll Felgen sehr gut. Ich persönlich bin das Fahrwerk nur auf Comfort gefahren sondern sogar eher zwischen Sport und Normal, da liegt er perfekt und rollt immer noch sanft ab.

The interior of that Arteon is the nicest interior I've ever seen in any car. In some ways better than the Lexus LFA or the Aston Martin DB9, which are my other favorite interiors.

As each country nears their ban on sales of petrol/diesel cars, production will all but cease as markets are removed one by one, alongside with the expected cheaper production costs of EVs this is how I predict the future over the next decade.

I have nothing against 2l turbo engines. In fact I used to own a 280hp Leon Cupra, but man... I wish the Arteon came with a V6. BMW showed with the B58 straight six that it is possible to build a six cylinder engine that is powerful and also fuel efficient. The Arteon R 320 has worse fuel efficiency and emission ratings than a BMW 440i GC. So why driving a thirsty R4 when you can have a better sounding, smoother running, torquier R6 that takes 1 Liter less on 100 km?
I think they don't want to find themselves competing with one another. I'm talking about RS5 and arteon. You can see that arteon have RS5 external design.
Arteon is MQB platform. No room for a V6.
The biggest engine which would barely fit is the 5 cyliner 2.5 liter
I don’t know why but arteon R have the same engine ea888 gen 4 like a golf R or Audi s3 or cupra Leon but another better gearbox dq500… small brothers have dq381. 👎
They should make it with 3.0 and so on until 5.0...
