@@sngfilm418 저도 느꼈어요 근데 그건 미국식 이디엄이기도 하고, 사실 배우지않으면 의미를 추측하기 힘든경우가 많으니까요. 그래서 저도 영어가 모국어가 아닌 외국친구들에겐 괜히 의미가 제대로 전달이 안될까싶어 이디엄을 자주 사용하진 않으려고 하고있어요. 근데 영어를 유창하게 하거나 영어권국가 사람들은 비슷한 문화권으로 대부분 알고있거나 혹은 그 표현을 모르더라도 문맥상 대부분 알아들을거에요 한나라에서만 주로 사용되는 레어한 이디엄 아니고선. 그래서 결론은 이디엄 공부를 해둬야 영어 원어민들의 대화를 더 쉽고 빠르게 이해할수 있다는겁니다! 영어 배움의 길은 정말로 끝도 없는것 같아요ㅠㅠ

매번 너무너무 감사히 시청하고 있어요 ㅎㅎ 제 목표는 외국 바이어 혹은 저처럼 제2외국어로 영어를 사용하는 사람이 많은 회사에서 일하게 될 때 원활하게 소통하는 거인데요! Take sth with a grain of salt 같이 비교적 공부하지 않으면 직관적으로 이해하기 힘든 표현들도 공부를 계속 해나가야 할까요?
예를 들어 미국에선 take a rain check을 매우 많이 쓴다는데도 제2외국어 쓰는 외국인들한테 쓰면 대부분 모르더라고요..
@@sngfilm418 저도 느꼈어요 근데 그건 미국식 이디엄이기도 하고, 사실 배우지않으면 의미를 추측하기 힘든경우가 많으니까요. 그래서 저도 영어가 모국어가 아닌 외국친구들에겐 괜히 의미가 제대로 전달이 안될까싶어 이디엄을 자주 사용하진 않으려고 하고있어요. 근데 영어를 유창하게 하거나 영어권국가 사람들은 비슷한 문화권으로 대부분 알고있거나 혹은 그 표현을 모르더라도 문맥상 대부분 알아들을거에요 한나라에서만 주로 사용되는 레어한 이디엄 아니고선. 그래서 결론은 이디엄 공부를 해둬야 영어 원어민들의 대화를 더 쉽고 빠르게 이해할수 있다는겁니다! 영어 배움의 길은 정말로 끝도 없는것 같아요ㅠㅠ
