Some geeks criticize Galaxy A every year but every year, all around the world, regular users still buy them. Those 2024 Galaxy A will be another win this year. Geeks don't understand people DGAF about Mediatek vs Exynos vs Snapdragon....Regular users ( majority of people ) just want a smartphone with nice design which can handle any task pretty good, with long term support : that's a Galaxy A55.
They think everybody plays AAA games on their phones lol
They think everyone is getting phone for gaming lmao they get gaming phone instead of getting a console ps4 5 ...
Because most os people dont search for cost/benefit.
That's due to the Samsung's strong marketing.
yeah that is what I wanted when I got my A52, just an average smartphone with reasonable price and able to handle light use and daily tasks.
It was all great, then with Android 12 it became SLOW, or more precisely it became inconsistent in speed, sometimes is quite fast, but I get many major freezes where I have to wait seconds for it to do really simple tasks (like opening the clock, sometimes it takes 3-4s). So the phone has decent capabilities, but the updates just made it into an awful product.
@@mastroitek Did you reset the phone after the Android 12 update? A reset generally gets rid of all freezes.
I've noticed one thing about your videos: you make your videos very aesthetically pleasing.

I got the A55 5G two day ago. Every year, I always get the new S ultra phones but I decide to try out a A series phone. I downgraded from a S22 Ultra to a A55 5G navy Blue with 8gb and 256gb. This phone is a hidden Flagship and it's super snapping. The micro sd slot is worth it!
Watching from A50s, damn its been 5 years since, i bought this phone still working fine but i need an upgrade

I just bought the A54 5G - 8/256GB because its on sale for $320. Coming from A51. I did not wait for this because for me its minimal update from the A54 5G. I just save a little bit of money.

You could have actually SAved even more since you could have just bought the Galaxy A35 instead, it's literally the A54 from last year in the shell of the A55, same 6.6 inch screen, the only difference is that it has plastic sides and a 13mp selfie camera.

I prefer plastic frames with Snapdragon than Exynos with aluminum frames. 253Hz PWN dimming and virtual proximity sensor again?
I know people using A53 and 54 in Romania. Not the fastest phones but they are durable.

Still using my A53 which I bought from launch... I think I will upgrade to this and sell it but in all honesty it's been perfectly fine, and got better with time from all the updates. Considering this has double the benchmarks I think it's worth it and will be keeping it even longer than the A53... Probably 3-4 years

I am upgrading form a54 as I like bigger screen aluminium frame and I play a lot of codm so 30%better performance is good 👍

From my A53 5G to A55 5G got mine yesterday..
I don't mind the thick bezel or slow charging speed or gimmick macro lens or what, but exynos processor hmm.. last time i used a51 with exynos, my phone got stuck at samsung logo after a year and my warranty totally ended ofc.. i send it to service center but unfortunately they said it's mobo problem.. I've been trauma using exynos
A55 has the design improvement, small performance improvement and then nothing more

It's 30% more power than old gen which is similar to s21 lineup
Slight camera improvements also due to the improved chipset. Then again, the a54 and a55's retail price were the same at launch, so it's expected
I'm curious if this one has a better display than the a54, cause my a54 has absolutely terrible viewing angles, tilting the phone ever so slightly gives the screen a green cast, this is especially noticeable when the screen is white.
I had the a53 and it was great but I ended up giving it to my mother due to performance. My s23 ultra camera wise , zoom and gaming performance is on a complete different level. The a55 and Samsung has the best mid range one on the and Apple doesn't even come close

Im interested in this phone but, alot of geeks on internet telling to get s23fe instead. Because there isn't much price difference and both of these phones are available only version in my country Exynos. What you think, good battery and camera is my main priority.

@@bibin7774 I like this, and the color matches most cases... if you use other colors, the camera part will look streaky if you use a mostly dark case... colors other than navy only match clear cases.

As an Indonesian who doesn't use English as a daily language, your pronunciation is very clear to my ears.
I wish the Samsung Galaxy A55 had a 12MP 2x or 50mm telephoto camera and use a 12MP selfie cam instead of 32MP.
That's reserved for the FE series and flagships. If they bring the telephoto cams, there will be no real difference between the A and FE series.

Just to be more competitive for the competition. As most phones in that price category of Galaxy A55 have a telephoto cam especially from Oppo and Vivo.
Ah yes, the Xiaomi 13T is also present in that category.

Atleast some usable lens instead of that micro camera. There's a reason some midrange phones just stick to 2 cameras instead of wasting space with a micro lens
Not entirely true... but close. Motorola Edge Series does the best job in this regard: Only 2 lenses yes BUT their ultrawide lens has Autofocus and therefore it also serves as a much better quality Macro lens. And main lens supports bokeh/portrait, which kind of means that 2 lenses incorporates 4 lenses in reality. All kudos to Moto in this regard 👍. Others should copy this including OnePlus, Samsung, Honor, Xiaomi, Poco, Vivo, Sony etc, who all add a very bad quality Macro lens still in 2024. Only that is the reason for all useless macro lens complaints, a Macro camera is fun and very useful and a great extra but it should be done correctly!

I still decide either taking A55 or S series instead. My current device is A52 & the battery start disminishing since last year. Wondering if the A55 chipset can handle some games.
the S series will always be better, but if you don't play heavy games, then I think the A55 is good enough

💛 No to Navy Blues😂! Here in EU we get the awesome lemon yellow, the only color I would buy 🟨. Not sure yet about buying A55, 3 reasons why I hesitate: 1) 213 grams heavy 🏋️♀️ it's too much; 2) camera just got only 1 point more than last years A54 on new DxoMark test landing A55 only in 15th place (price bracket $400-$600). 3) The price tag of 256gb model, which is of course the only wise option to buy, is surprisingly salty expensive at 549 Euros 😲 which is a lot of money for a mid-ranger, but yes typically for A series price drops quickly so I'm expecting it to sell closer to 400€ already in June 🤞.

That bezel is do damn thick tho. S21 fe which is a 3 yr old device has a very think bezels compared to this newer phone

My old LeTv LeEco phones have smaller bezels. Why did Samsung do that with A55, I have no idea! I've never seen those ugly bezels on any other midrange phones since 2020 at least. I think it's a total lack of respect for customers from Samsung! But your reviews are... gorgeous!
