Thank you I felt like it was so difficult to find a video like this.. my daughter is starting boxing and I wanted to help her at home with the mits...this was very helpful- Ty
59 year old here just trying to stay in shape , the footwork has always been a challenge for me , this video put things into perspective , thank you for posting it .
34 and im doing the same thing you are, just trying to stay in shape so I feel you. the footwork only gets better if you work footwork drills. you have to go somewhere after punching
Snoop knows…notice that his explanations are concise, and to the point. Mitt work that has these main points maintains solid fundamentals as a boxer’s develops. Also, notice how he is checking the range hitting a bag or hitting mitts be mindful of the range of your opponent (bag or mitts). General rule is if you can touch them, they can touch you. i coach too, i have my guys throw both power jabs and speed jabs , power back hands and speed back hands ..the power jab gets turned over , the speed jab does not turn over, they are much faster than power jabs and power back hands , nice work

Glad it was helpful!
It's one thing to be good with the gloves on, it's another to be good with the mitts. Thank you for this 💪.
No doubt!
Thank you. Much appreciated. I am just starting to train myself and my daughters. This is perfect.
Your more than welcome. If you need anything specific just ask
Nice work, guys. I just got into boxing in my 50s and I think it is an outstanding workout. Thanks for the demo and advice. Much appreciated.
Thanks for watching. Yes boxing is a great workout for anybody at any age.

Snoop! What a nice surprise to see you on this....My Dad LOVED working with you @ RSB! Thanks for the great video!
Awesome, I coach RSB also!
Respect the technique🥊 and the old school kicks 97 airmax👌
Haha thanks bro.
Nice work gents
Much appreciated

Some nice light work. 💪🏽
Appreciate it
excellent, thank you for calling it a straight right punch and not a "cross"!!!!
I hate that term. Only used by MMA fanboys who can't punch. You have a straight right and a straight left. A cross is a stupid name.
I think that’s a u.k thing
@@shani02056 it's not
@@-superfusexd-1436 oh my bad I’ve seen a lot of people from the uk call it a cross. Is it a preference thing?
@@shani02056 probably down to different amateur clubs, never heard anyone I train with call it a cross!
Pad In front of face and body, balanced full extend, Step in range then back out
I like it thank you
its all love bro. i appreciate you taking the time to watch
This is how you teach a fool like me..
thank you, at last I understood what I was missing..
Glad it helped. More coming soon
Slowly showing that is very good
Thanks.
You think a double end bag suit as alternative for pad work in some ways?
It's a great tool to use for reaction and timing. It's the lack off moving around the ring that's the problem
👍🥊💪
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Stance a lil to wide he’s having to reach way more than I’d have my fighter do ..but overall not to bad
Coaches yell at me to “relax”. I droop my shoulders and they tell me I’m too intense 😫😫😫
I'll say this. You do want to be relaxed until right before impact. Check out the soviet boxing channel. They go over this in there style of boxing
Thanks for watching. Yes boxing is a great workout for anybody at any age.
I have problem when I am hiting pads I get tired quickly but when I am do sparing it's not why is that
How fast paced Is your sparring vs your pad work
@@rocketcityboxingclub my style is soviet russian so my jab is so busy and I busy in sparing more than pad work I don't know why it's happened all the time
Man looks like Larry Wheels 😅
I want to make my friend a boxer,i dont have mitts but palms 😂
There is nothing wrong with using the palms it just needs to be more controlled by the boxer to have skill vs power. I do it all the time
great stuff, way too squared up on that right cross. Got to rock when he finishes his punching combos. can't settle in
yea! i know what you mean hes gotten alot better now over time
What’s squared up mean
@@jadenwallace8758 left shoulder lines up with right shoulder, fighter should have one shoulder further behind the other as this shows less of his body and provides more stability when the fighter is hit
On the cross I see the bacc foot lifting off the floor definitely losing power on the the cross
That is true for most everybody but this particular boxer showed up to the gym with power you cant teach or build. it was eye opening
Knuckles should aim the center of the mitt and not the upper part...
tell me about it. he hurts my wrist

Right foot placement wasn’t there for a good half of the video
Both feet should be facing forward, look at the greats idk if it’s just his style but that’s not it at all chief
