...THE most poignant preaching the world will ever read and/or hear! Praise Jesus to the highest mountains for what He did. And Praise His Holy Name! The ONLY true God Almighty there will ever have been! Believe it or not! AMEN!
I said that to say this....
...UNLESS a person realizes that they can NEVER do what Jesus said in that sermon; UNLESS they confess sincerely to Jesus; that we simply do NOT have the ability to overcome the power of satan! IE: The ONLY power that can say to satan, "Get thee behind me satan!"; and get away with it; is Jesus. Period! For IF we try, satan will laugh us all the way to hell. Oh yes.
So I strongly suggest to every Christian on this planet; that they get ON their knees OFTEN; and confess sincerely; that we can NOT stop satan's temptations; but Jesus can. And pray that Jesus remove satan's temptations; so we can sin LESS!
Remember, NO one will ever be "Sinless"...1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (Now IF you come from "New YOKE City"; that means you be a LIAR; Buster's Brown and Sister's Suzie! LOL). And remember, "sin LESS" is not "Sinless"!

Around the 11:00 mark, he makes a note that Jesus is poor in spirit. How can this be? That doesn't make sense to me.

If you think about it, this temptation actually sounds ridiculous since Jesus already knew who He was! 🤨
This would be the equivalent of a owner of a piece of property, losing those property rights due to an illegal business deal made by the custodians of the property.🤔
And the crook that initiated the deal and stole the property rights in the first place, is now attempting to make a deal with the owner to get His property back for an outrageous price!

Don't forget the woes if all you preach are the blessings while ignoring the curses your preaching is unbalanced, is actually a half truth
In this case there needn't be the curses, because Matthew 5 doesn't have the curses, just the blessings. It is in Luke that they come paired.
