i can explain platoon in ni no kuni simply for you:
you want the highest thing, if you have a wizard (the witch hat) the two units will swap around, so if the other person has a higher number than you, your the one who has a higher number. if you have a white hat, you automaticly loose, unless the other person has a king, then you win. if you have a king, you win.
Um er OK.. Kings witch me have no idea
So then why does sometimes the highest number wins but other times the lowest one wins?
You still have the boat look on your map. You can use it to get the last stone. You were right! COME ON STAMPS YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
Maybe to catch that boat, you have get the old boat you had, Sea Cow. And, you didn't press "play again" on accident, you wanted to play all along......... lol :3
LOL I agree. He just wanted to press his luck a little more. He should have turned his chips back into G though. He had about 4.9k and he started with about 400. At a rate of 5G per chip, thats some pretty serious payout. You could really get rich quick at blackjack in this game if you play wisely. He earned somewhere around 24,500G in the casino.

Hello, I finished Ni No Kuni but it looks like your still at it. I want to advise you to get a familiar called Acee. You will find him/her on the ocean. It looks like a blue ball with an electric plug coming out of its head. This creature is fantastic, especially when it gets a move called Parp. Don't ask me what that means but it is an electrical discharge of some type that is great. I used this even in the final battles along with Ollie's special spells, it works that well. It comes in very handy near the end when you are going through certain rooms'.
Believe me you will love Acee. I don't know how many people picked him up since none of the video's I've watched had him but I would not play this game again without him.
You will not regret it.

Btw the ship boss is weak to storm attacks, load up on whirligig and thunderspark attackers
Can you use that poisoned apple spell again that one looks cool and I think sometimes if you use it you can sneak past the googlies really easy because they think you are dead

You have to use the boat you got in Castaway Cove to get to it
what you should do in the multi task game is have a brother or sister or friend use one stick and you use another
Stampy go to ur map there should be a boat near the shore at the island where you your dragon! Use it to get to boat to get the stone!

Get your ship from scull island were you left it and then go follow it if you get closer to the ghost battle ship you will have to fight a boss which is a scelleton captain and when you difeat the boss you will get the sun stone
