I have a handicap on right hand, so it’s hard to quickly or precisely moving thumb from R3 to the right side buttons. Using this I am able to move two buttons to left and right hand fingers, thus keeping my right thumb in place on R3.

@@impactz7652 I find that it works perfectly, and only a week or so to get used to it! And it has allowed me to win more fights and helped me raise my k/d by double what it was, and I started playing in season 5 so I'm not the best, so this thing really helps if you're willing to put in the time and practice

You are right it is a bit of a learning curve but my hands don’t ache using the back buttons compared to the default ps4 controller

Got mine new from gamestop for $10. Can't beat that. I think the price came down altogether. 30 was kinda pushing it. But even still is better than the 300 for scuf ect. I'm not saying it's better than a scuf. I've never owned one to be able to know. But for the price you can't beat this. Great gift for the gamer in your life
Dog, I’ve had a Scuf for two years and I’m about to switch to this. I’ve had nothing but problems out of my Scuf. For example, the grip on my left thumb stick keeps wearing down. I’m on my second set of sticks and I’m already playing on plastic with my left thumb. As well as having problems with the paddles not working quite often. So imo, this purchase will be worth it. A more durable controller for waaaayyyy cheaper

Bought it today and it was really hard to put it on the controller cause I was being extra carefull about it and didn't wanna break it. But it was kinda easy to install.

Im left handed so playing COD is hard because i cant move and jump or slide cancel like everyone else but with the back paddles my gaming has gone to the next level
Thanks for this video! I just bought one of these but I couldn't work out how to switch between profiles because there's no mention how in the manual but thanks to your video I now know to double click on the screen! Why didn't they put a button on the front with some led lights to let you quickly switch between profiles though and an extra ext port?
Quick Update: I've been using it a few days now and just can't find a comfortable position with it and am starting to get cramps in my fingers when playing with it so have started to remove it for games that I don't necessarily need it before. Bit disappointed with this as I really wanted to like it.
I just got mine today and I feel the same way. No cramps as of yet, but it's really thrown me off my game so far, it's had a negative impact more than a positive. I can't grip my controller as I usually do as doing so would engage the back buttons, so its having a negative effect on my aim, it just doesn't feel right. Being able to jumpshot whilst still being able to aim is cool, but idk man, it feels horrible & bulky, I keep accidently pressing a button at the wrong time & it leads to me losing a game... Maybe I'll give it more time idk :'(

The strike pack has more delay and the Ps4 back Button attachment has no mods and can run it wireless. I think this thing is better than the strike pack

I bought 1 last week and I have the same opinion as you with this in terms of uncomfortable and find myself needlessly tapping them whilst playing. Great for the uber competitive gamers but I'm a casual so think it's been a waste of my money. Will continue to see if I can get better with it but overall so far need more time which I just don't have
i just got mine, and it feels uncomfortable. tiring for my hands, and cant decide i should use the middle or ring finger in the paddles. did you manage to get fully used to it?
@@shomageisha I've since put it up for sale as no matter how much I tried I just couldn't get used to it. I'm in my 30's and been using ps pads since the ps1 so think it is just ingrained into head the shape of them, it felt alien to me 😅
@@bricktopvader7431 I can't get used to it either. The only games I use it for are Ace Combat 7 and The Crew 2 otherwise it just languishes on top of my PS4. I like the idea just not the design. So glad I only paid £25 for it.

Take this from someone who’s been using this exact paddles for 3-4 years. If you’re a casual gamer that stands and shoots you should get these. Youd find it unnecessary but it helps. Alottt. FOR ALL THE TRYHARD SWEATS COMP players, these aren’t for you as I’ve noticed especially on this NEW MW2 it does help you a shit ton besides playing default obviously but it has such a delay compared to these fast claw players you won’t stand a chance reaction time

I got it two yrs plus ago but never use it cause i bought a razer raiju controller but recently it started to give stick drift which is irritating so i took out a brand new ps4 dualshock controller and connected it with this sony extension back pack but it shows no response when i click the round back screen as shown in this video, yes it is perfectly connected completely into the dualshock controller, pls help? Does the backpack need to charge separately? The controller is already fully charged..
this is good for games with a lot of controls, like Im getting this for siege because of the stupid lean feature that takes up two buttons

Yes, whenever I remove the attachment and then the controller feels weird cause I got so much used to it.
It will take a month or maybe less, as long as u don't give up I promise it will make it so easy.

I don't really consider back buttons cheating. More of an accessibility feature. Now mod packs are another story. Like the strike pack mods. Those are for sure cheating, and I wish there was a way to detect people who are using them and slam down the ban hammer. This thing is for sure a bitch to plug in. I really felt like I was going to break something the first time. You can find these for 10 bucks now and with a program calle ds4 for windows you can use it on pc. I use one of my old ps4 controllers with this and a stick extender on the right one and it works GREAT for Halo MCC (the only competitive shooter atm that is worth a damn imo). It really helps pulling off all the button combos like bxr and bxb espcially on halo 2 classic. It is for sure a bit uncomfortable. I haven't used it much yet so I hope I can get used to the weirdly placed bulk.

I play claw with 8 fingers and I have trouble with moving and pressing R3 and L3 and I need steady aim for snipers from time to time and this will solve that problem. Now I'll have to play 10 finger claw 😅

If u program one of the paddles to x then ur normal x won't do anything I don't think
You get 2 extra buttons. I have mine set for aim and shoot, your previous buttons still work unless you disable them in the game settings

You should reset your dualshock4 ... U can file a small hold on the back of your controller. Use a toothpick to push the inner button for 5 seconds and you can reattach your back button

DukeManGaming no the back buttons only give an extra input for a face button using l3 or the l3 paddle with do the same thing
Re-bind edit to something on the d-pad or face buttons on the right, then assign that to one of the paddles. After that, bind whatever you want to L3 like crouch, pickaxe, etc.
