I made one of these the key things were torque of drive motors require to skid steer (gearing to wheels)...pump size to drive must be matched to hp...hose sizes must be adequate....lots of kangas and torros have hydraulic circuits online which is great resource.....looking forward to watching progress, well done.....and for me if I thought the steel work was adequate,I usually bent or broke it pretty quick.
Oh Yea. A great series. I am going to try and share your vid with everyone I know. It might be a specialty thing though..lol That is a great idea with the skid steer build video!!!
Great series, I binged on it today and found it quite enjoyable. Did you develop your own design from scratch, or is there some other reference. looking forward to your prints and a BOM needed to complete same. I would love to have one of these for the winter season. Cheers!
looking good..is there 4:1 ratio for chain motor to wheels? ...looks like its going to be solid....the russians have lots of builds of these and are great for info...keep up the videos.
Hey Tony. Great watching you build this skid steer. Any thoughts when the remaining episode(s) will be posted? It also would be great to get a parts list/plans so viewers could build their own. We live handy a Princess Auto on the East coast, a short drive for the parts to build one. Merry Christmas
@@SewingProjects did you maxed out the lifting weight yet? how much does it lift securely? i'm looking forward to build a similar machine and currently calculating the frame and proportions, my goal is to lift a ibc full of firewood. nice project
