I used this exact color and brand to dye my hair! I found out that if you mix it with some cheap conditioner, (I used renpure originals coconut oil conditioner) it'll dye your hair just as well and vibrant but it won't stain your skin or tub NEARLYYYY as bad. just remember to mix a little conditioner at a time. otherwise, it'll clump together :)
Yes I have been mixing colors with conditioner to make them lighter! It does work really well! Thank you for the tip!
Also if you have leftover dye you could mix it in with your conditioner and it'll continue to freshen up your color.

Put Vaseline on your forehead,ears,wherever you don’t want the dye to go.I never had any problems with bathtub staining. As soon as you get out of the shower, spray your tub with Clorox Cleanup. It works great! Let it sit for a while,you should not have to scrub.I recommend flipping your head face down to rinse the color out,so it will not stain your body. I used the Splat amethyst,it came out a lot lighter than I hoped for(I am blonde, and also my hair doesn’t take color well),so instead of a rich purple,it was like a light pastel purple. Now it faded to light blue. I am going to dye it the same color you did. I hope it comes out darker. Your hair looks beautiful with that blue color 😊

Is it damaging? I've heard terrible reviews on Reddit and quora lol I guess hair stylists compared it to fabric dye and said it stains your hair forever.
I dye my hair with the same exact brand and color! What really helped me take the color off my skin,was a clarifying shampoo.
I even use some to scrub the tub and the color was gone! 😋💙🧿

I mix baking soda with lotion or soap and rub it on the stained area. It works great, It takes it off like nothing else. Then I rinse and my skin is soft. Try it out!

The best thing to avoid scalp staining is to simply wash the dye out with shampoo. It’s so pigmented that you don’t need to worry about washing the color away. That color ain’t going nowhere any time soon! 😂

I love the color on her😍 I have 4A hair and I used the Midnight Amethyst. It stained EVERYTHING! And it NEVER STOPPED RUNNING. I had to wear a hat all summer, because God forbid I got caught in the rain or a drizzle, it would run down my back. Every time I washed my hair, it stained the tub. And it lasted way beyond the “30 washes”. More like 300 washes. I bleached my tub overnight every time after I washed my hair. I swore I’d never use it again, but I also bought the Midnight Indigo at the same time. Maybe I’ll try it with a conditioner and add heat this time. I must say it covered my grays really well. But all that running and staining!!!😢
Omgsh yessss she had the same issue it definitely bleeds every time u wash ur hair and it’s soo annoying! Other than that the color looks so pretty and yes it holds on for way more than 30 washes 😅
I just dyed my son's hair with this dye and it stained everything really bad. Destroyed my kitchen floor and the bathtub is horrible. His scalp is stained in patches and his hands and neck and arms are all blue 🔵 but he loves the color. Your hair looks amazing. His is a bit lighter blue because he has light natural hair. I didn't use the bleach.
Omg yes the color is so pretty but the mess is not worth it! It took so much bleach to get the staining off and it still didn’t completely come off the shower 🥲

When you get done dying always use a wash rag and a little water and rub some shampoo on the rag and wipe it off don't let it sit lol if you use shampoo it's always came off my skin

May sound weird but if you buy neutrogena soothing clear turmeric mousse cleaner, apply it to the stains for 6 minutes, it almost wipes off with a warm cloth.

Hey! Yes it does stick to brown hair it just won’t be as bright blue as it would if the hair was lightened a bit

Unfortunately yes! Because it’s a 30 wash dye it will come off every time you wash it even if it’s with color protecting shampoo 😭

It depends if you got temporary or permanent
It lasts most like 30 washes! But it doesn’t come off completely!
@@jazmin_estrada Thanks! I actually bought the semi permanent dye and it was very dark. I've been putting a mixture of baking soda, dish soap and head & shoulders in my hair to wash it out. I've done it twice and its now a grayish color, I really like it now. The blue was too much on me.

We let it fade for a few weeks then we did a color remover from sally beauty supply
I did mine a few days ago. I used manic panic 1st to try and lighten the hair that was dyed black, but it didn't work so now I have blue on the top of my head.
Black is almost impossible to remove unless u use bleach 😭 how did u like manic panic though?

I honestly feel like the only reason it showed up extra vibrant is because she already had blonde highlights. My sister and I have the same kind dark natural hair color and splat only fucked up our hands and showers.
It wasn’t until I started bleaching our hair myself and using the Adore brand for my blue and her purple hair that it actually came out super vibrant and pretty.
That was two years ago and we’ve never went back from bleaching our roots before any dye job.
She recently used an Arctic purple and I’m currently letting an Arctic blue settle before showering because hers has lasted for sooooo long!
Yes it defiantly looked brighter because of the highlights! I definitely do not recommend splat nor will I be using it again it’s too messy. I’ve been using Arctic Fox

Blue dye is known for staining lol. Sorry you found out the hard way! Most blue dyes will do this. Red too. Just say goodbye to your shower lol.
