Great find Chef! Haha. This made me remember the Thai Fried Rice I had at Crying Tiger. The shrimp was big, plump and juicy and what i can't forget was the smokiness, may smoky aroma yung rice na masarap! This was a few years ago. I hope the cook or chef is still the same.
I learn so much from your tips and insights. Thank you for sharing. It's the small things sometimes that really matters to get the bigger picture. You are so down to earth, chef. More power and God bless you.
Thank you for the tips on food (now I want fried rice! Either Kabsa, Biryani, and that Salted fish fried rice 'struck'my gut..truly "rice is life") and about world we live in(all of these we have is because of Him up there🙂.). Going to look for my "fried rice" fix now in Al Khobar. Stay safe Chef!
Chef JP, cannot control myself on giving another comment.🍽️🥢🍸🥤🔪🍲 A very nice guy giving Glory to our God. A rosary in the car, gives us daily protection. Tomorrow is Sunday don't forget to attend mass or even on line mass. Or a short prayer for lives and blessings. God bless Philippines who just recently felt earthquake. 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Chef..kudos to you po..your contents are not just food variations but with joy and values..you even mentioned the center and core of everything and us in this video..Because of you, i started watching food vlogs and you are the standard. I went to TEsda for fnb certification but i because of busy schedule in teaching di na napagtuonan.. thank you chef...sana makasama ako sayo sa ride mo with your scooter sa ride mo within metro manila..Godbless po
If not dito sa hai shin lou, baka sa iba muna hehe. Hoping to see it sa upcoming uploads mo.
Cute mo talaga Chef!!! Hihihi you"re always magana when eating :) got emotional as well when ur were holding the rosary, kalowka! Anywys Same here pag nag crave kahit need i drive..gow lang...iba talaga when eating it agad kesa delivered..thanks for the reco and more vlogs please! All the best!
Totally agree with this, Chef JP! Hai Shin Lou is so underrated! This brings back such good memories, when my dad would take me here for dinner after school. Their fried rice is properly seasoned, slightly oily with a distinct, sunog note that tastes like it came out fresh from the wok. I also love their Peppercorn Squid, Stir-Fried Crab with Mushrooms in Black Pepper Sauce, and Hot Prawn Salad! :) More power to you, Chef!
Ongpin, benavidez, masangkay or binondo area is my go to place for chinese cuisine. I remember lotus restaurant a shabu shabu resto along tomas mapua, in my opinion it was the best shabu shabu resto specially their pineapple fried rice and their sate soup (the best) . Sadly its been closed. In my observation there are a lot of chinese restos in binondo the quality and taste of their foods are not the same as before...sad😔
Waiter po ako sa Hai Shin Lou Chef and i appreciate po na naintindihan nyo po kami Salute sainyo Chef💞 Maraming Salamat po nagustuhan nyo yung food♥️ We are grateful to serve you Chef . Godbless you more Chef😇 Sana po patuloy po kayong bumalik samin♥️💞
The best part of this vlog is the timing ng pagpunta sa resto coming from a kitchen guy point of view. Yes, nangyayari yun mga last minute guest and wala rin naman magagawa but to cater them. Hehe -Migs from Salvis
my grandfather who made fried dumpling when I was a kid -that the taste we never able to copy, I remember watching him cook and he crush some bones when doing the fried wanton, I do love to cook when not working, I must have got it from the Cantonese of my grandfather, but thank you for all your show on cooking
Hi Chef! Im one of your cabin crew on your recent Caticlan Flight. Super solid sa humble! Take care and See you again sa flights Chef and your wife as well! 👌 God Bless
Fried rice the best! It always makes me happy eating it. Thank you Chef JP for your food places to go. Mas namit ang pagkaon because of your story (foreplay). Craving for something (like food) and having it are happy stories to share. Mas mababaw ang kaligayahan mas mataas ang fulfillment. More power to you and deeply touched with your gratitude kay Lord (for all of the above). I end my prayer with... IN EVERYTHING WE DO, IN EVERYTHING WE ACHIEVE, WE BRING IT BACK TO YOU OH LORD! AMEN
Hello Chef ...i follow your vlogs and it's nice to see u eating everywhere even in carinderia doesn't matter to you and you give honest comment..hope to see ur Resto Kooya in Dubai soon...
My dad worked as a waiter when he was in college, and what you said about being tired - he always talks about that when we would eat in restaurants. He always said we should be nice to waiters because the job is hard. And he always told us to tip well when we can afford it :)
I know because that's what I do if I wanted to duplicate a food I really like. 😉
Well, natural lang yun kase you are an owner of many restaurants kaya nadadala mo sya anywhere... I think, for you mahirap naman makihalubilo in a way na parang ka-level mo lang ang mga workers (nasanay ka na kase sa status quo).... pero it wouldn't hurt to practice and learn... Like give some genuine lambing in tone of voice..hehehe ... baka eventually matutunan mo rin and before you know it... blend-in ka na ng di sapilitan sa mga workers sa kahit anong restaurant. :)
Hindi na sana ako mag-comment pero…that’s my favorite fried rice! Tsaka baket ganon, parang naka-sakay at kasama na din tayo with Chef sa car nya when he takes us to places, sobrang raw kasi yung vlog nya…hindi na kelangan ng super editing and scoring to really get involve with the content…..sometimes short and sweet is really more. For me, the quality of the salted fish makes a lot of difference. Sarap ng food today, grabe! Thank you Chef JP! 🙏🏼🇵🇭🇺🇸
Chef JP nice food vlog and good luck and more blessings for your project. 🥰🤑🥰 A good way of describing the place as well as the fried rice and other food you ordered. A very thoughtful guy for the take out for your lovely wife. Stay healthy. 😋😷😋
