    and all of the Jets fans were cheering when they thought Daniel Elder was cancelling the yellow card but all he was doing was going to give Jordan Elsey a straight red and that's what it should have been in the first place

      Surely if hea already off for two yellows then maybe then wouldnt it be easier and save time if the citing panel upgraded the card instead?

    "fairly high" wtf? how the hell do you need VAR to see that. one of the highest and most dangerous challenges I've ever seen.

      It's high without doubt, looking at it in real time I don't think the referee has seen what part of the body is involved for both attacking and defending players, hence why he goes reckless (caution). It's a clear and obvious error on two counts - 1 the referee originally gave a free kick when the offence is inside the penalty area, and 2 it's clear serious foul play as it's a boot to the head. A perfect use of what VAR was intended for, and very quickly done as well.

      it doesnt matter how high it is. If there is not enough intensity and points of contacts are not correct its only YC
