    With all the people that need housing this could easily be made over into emergency housing it’s such a waste for such a beautiful building to sit idle and have areas in need of repairs due to no one keeping it safe, be safe and thanks for such a beautiful building to see and enjoy!

    Main area where all pupils used to line up eveytime whilst waiting to go to dining area for their food. 1st door on the right tucked into right hand corner was the staff room. the next right hand door was the laundery drying room with a giant fan in. next mini corridor led to infants school area, next is staff toilet. Bottom left was girls toilets and shoer area. further down was the Pantry where all food was stored leading to the kitchen. Behind this image was the kitchen washing up area

    I live the William Morris wallpaper (called-William Morris Vintage “Spring thicket” Floral Design) in the room at 13:12. William Morris, a founder of the British Arts and Crafts Movement, was especially known for his wallpaper designs. These were created for the firm he founded with his partners in 1861, Morris, Marshall, Faulkner and Company, and later for Morris and Company. Next time show us that stuff too!!!!!

    Just been there , when we tried to make our way into the kitchen the alarms went off , we hurriedly made our way out to find one of the people from the houses along the road had called the police , she came at us and tried to stop us from getting away but managed to go through the orchard . Stunning building but it is now in such a state :(

    • @nik7183
      @nik7183 Před 4 měsíci

      I went to Caythorpe Court college, when it closed it got bought by one of these outdoor adventure places PGL? It seems such a shame because of what they've done to the grounds, but I suppose at least the house is being looked after.
      This could go as flats or something sort of business. Caythorpe was going to house immigrants at one point.

    That ‘tower’ in the cabinet of the server room looks like a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) it’s a battery backup for the Comm unit.
    Also as an FYI, I’ve seen in a few videos that you assume the PIR detectors are not working if they do not light up, 90% of PIR’s have a connector (jumper) inside them that if removed will disable the red LED, it will still work as normal but won’t turn the led in when it detects movement.
