- This video shows you how Indonesians or Chinese-Indonesians celebrate Chinese New Year on a Night Market in Solo City (Surakarta) in Java. It was also my first Chinese Year Celebration and what made it even more interesting for me was the fact that this event took place on a big Night Market with a lot of Indonesian Streetfood (and maybe also Chinese Street Food?!).

I have mixed feelings about the food. Pecel and Jajanan was very good. Then I tried Duck Sausage Soup and another dish with beef from Warung ....the name was something with BIRU...I made a video there. will be online soon 🎉

I live in Surakarta, never celebrate these two, but when I passing by that street, because i work near there, Chinesse New Year look more beautifull, they always make the street look beautifull every year.

75.000 is special and limited edition for celebrating 75 years of Indonesia independence, release August 17, 2020. Before that Bank of Indonesia also release 50.000 and 25.000 special edition for celebrad 50 and 25 years independence day of Indonesia.

Btw, about the banknote 75,000 rupiah, it's a new banknote issued by government, the banknote was made as commemorative edition for indonesian 75th anniversary in 2020 and once can not be used for transaction, but the government later announced the money can be used as legal transaction and payment like normal banknotes.
