This was my first actual loadout in D2 when I started playing in early 2022. I was on Voidlock w/ Devour, of course, but Grav/Sin is my absolute favorite setup. Born to Nova, no longer forced to Well!
Voidlock is life. To hell with well.
this is a good point, you can still play that devour/void/nez/grav setup and still use a solar super, prismatic is pretty wild.

Whoever designed this GM was a huge troll. Double barrier servitors and a bunch of vandal snipers in the first room. The only saving grace is that the servitors are dumb and will follow you down the stairs where you can stun them without too many problems.
This build looos fun gonna give it a try! I really like in your videos you point out where you miss melee for radiant ect so many videos show a build but don’t talk about the rotation or priority of abilities to use in order to maximise your damage.

I tried this build in a standard nightfall yesterday, and I got more kills than the other two players combined. And I realized later that I hadn't even updated my Journal selections with the proper picks. Once I update those I'm sure the build will be even better.
And I know the Getaway meta might be stronger, but I find this build more fun to play. Chucking grenades is more fun than absorbing them.

Nezarecs sin helmet was soooooo good when void 3.0 came around. I’m glad it’s coming back and still being used. That pulse rifle is also crazy
I've been using a similar-ish weaken build with an exotic class item (osmiomancy and star eater). Weaken is so good in this gm since the boss has so much health.
I think hellion is going to be massive with the new ignition artifact perk. I've been loving it already
oh boy, what a build. I tested it in a normal strike and got 230 kills, both tm8s had 39 each XDD
Definitely do a build video on this perhaps with variations - I use something very similar but with contraverse hold and the slow/freeze artifact mod, combined with helion (which I love) and strand melee - all helps save heavy ammo by damage over time - especially with thorn
Contraverse Hold doesn’t work on Prismatic because Prismatic doesn’t allow you to equip the Chaos Accelerant Aspect… of course you can still “throw” grenades while using Contraverse Hold + Prismatic, but you cannot “charge” them before throwing them… which means you cannot activate Contraverse Hold’s exotic perk called Chaotic Exchanger; which states: “Resist incoming damage while charging your Void grenade with chaos Accelerant. Charged void grenades return grenade energy on a hit.”
Now I could see how you might think you are getting grenade energy back after throwing it into a group of enemies… because you technically are through Devour if you have the Feed the Void Aspect equipped… But that’s nothing compared to running Contraverse on the classic Voidwalker subclass with Feed the Void + Chaos Accelerant equipped.
Basically if you run Contraverse Hold on Prismatic, Contraverse Hold is giving you zero benefit. It literally does nothing without the Chaos Accelerant Aspect.
Long story short: Contraverse Hold on Prismatic is basically like having no exotic armor piece equipped. They may as well be a pair of legendary gauntlets, because Contraverse Hold’s effect will literally not activate without the ability to *charge* your grenade. And the only way to charge your void grenades is on a Void subclass with the Chaos Accelerant Aspect equipped.
Just a helpful tip, because I didn’t know about it for the longest time 😅

Have you tried using normal osmiomancy gloves with prismatic yet? It regens the void and arc grenades super quick, not sure if quicker than nez sin but still really good
He doesn’t like using stuff that very clearly is bugged and only exists because of the spaghetti code holding the game together
Nah I worked out that its purely cos of the addition of prismatic and the class items. All 5 of the prismatic warlock nades work with osmiomancy on their base subclass counterparts. It's not a bug otherwise it would've been fixed 2 weeks ago
@@thedlc1233 it’s bungie we are talking about the osmiomancy gloves proper, specifically state cold snap. The fact that it’s working for grenades that ARENT cold snap means it’s bugged

So how do you feel Nez Sin compares to Mantle of Battle Harmony now? With Mantle getting buffed in TFS, I'm curious. If you're wanting to run Song of Flame, Nez makes sense. I'm thinking of a class item like Apotheosis/Harmony with Nova Bomb as a competitor to your build.
@@freakinschweeet nez sin for abilities. Mantle for super. Not exactly the same function. Pretty different results for whichever exotic you pick

Sucks devour/feed the void is only a 2 slot aspect , wish it was three cause I don’t feel like using anything else with it besides bleakwatcher 💀
