    I have Ezair ride now on my 65c10. I’m thinking of switching as well. But I guess I’ll finish watching this vid first lol

      From what I gather I just need to get new electrical parts and do rewiring is that correct. Right now my ex air works great it’s just slower than I’d like. Just want to figure out what it takes to make that happen.

    I would put loom over those wires going to the vu4 you might think they’ll rub through but they will. It’s just extra piece of mind

      Thanks for subscribing. I like the 60 & 70s ford trucks. Especially when they are lowered but then again everything looks better lowered.

    With out the air gauges now how are you making sure your ride height is good and/or level left to right. I just installed the VU4 as well without the ECU. Just going off of feel/touch?
    Thanks man love the truck and videos.

      I use a tape measure most of the times. Sometimes I just go off fee as well. I eventually want to get an elevel from accuair. Thanks for the compliment. I really appreciate it

    Love your truck. What size tires are you running?

    I have a 63 and I put 2.5” drop spindles in front. I’m not wanting to put it on the ground, but will i need to cup the control arms to tuck the front tires? Will I have any issues with the lowering spindles and bag combo? Thanks

    • @Chickeneyegarage
      @Chickeneyegarage  Před rokem +1

      I’m not sure. I cupped my control arms first then I did the disc brake conversion with drop spindles. My fender well sits on the tire when aired out. I think it would go lower if I cut the fenders (which I’m not going to do) but not sure how much more. If I were you I would try the drop spindles first to see how it sits. If it’s not enough then cup the arms.

    How do you like ezair rides product? I’m thinking about buying a kit for my 66. What do you rate it?

    • @Chickeneyegarage
      @Chickeneyegarage  Před 2 lety

      I think it’s a great kit. Ezair is the only company I know that offers a 7 gallon air tank. Most others are 3 or 5 gallon tanks. From experience I would recommend running 2 compressors. One compressor takes awhile to air up a 7 gallon tank.

    When installed the ezair did you have to change out lots of original components?

      @@Chickeneyegarage did you have to change out the upper and lower control arms? Did you have to change the drum brakes to rotors?

      @@Chickeneyegarage I have a 1970 c 10 pickup and it’s pretty much stock, I really like what you did to your truck and would like to do that to mine but I don’t want to do is buy a bunch of stuff I don’t need. If you can help with the info I would greatly appreciate it.

    • @Chickeneyegarage
      @Chickeneyegarage  Před 2 lety

      @@chicanoperez6377 no you don’t need to change any suspension components to do air ride. Just remove the coil springs and install bags. It won’t be very low so if you want you can have the lower control arms cupped or if you do disc brakes then you can get drop spindles or do both like I did. Hope this helps
