    I thought this was going to be about other highly selective colleges like Duke, Rice, etc. This video is entirely about the actual Ivy League and has little to do with the title.

    Don’t forget cost. A lot of Ivy grads that went to college on financial aid (back when it was less generous) don’t qualify for financial aid and don’t have enough money to send their kids to a need based only institution. A lot of us have opted out of ivies for our kids for cheaper alternatives like state flagships. We also know from the work world that the money is better spent on professional school - you can have very similar employment opportunities coming from an honors college at a state flagship and an Ivy.
