- On my hitchhiking trip from Hobart in Tasmania, to Bisbane in Queensland I got dropped off in a homeless camp on the outskirts of Brisbane. I stayed a couple of nights, made some friends and had some adventures...

Mate they’re top people. I’ve been camping before and it’s such a relaxed atmosphere compared to in town. We were a bunch of boys pulling up in a car, just planning on getting drunk at the river and sleeping in our car, everyone there was friends in literally 10mins, there was mine managers, apprentices like us, and people from all walks of life that normally wouldn’t talk or maybe even see each other, but we all ended up around a camp fire, then we went for a skinny dip, a whole bunch joined in, music going, guitars out, it was awesome. If I didn’t have my wife and kids and pets and my workshop, and even now looking back, I wish I would have just bought a nice Hiace and travelled all around Aus. Now I have a great camper but I have work and responsibilities I have to keep, and I kind of daydream about just going. Nowhere in particular, just driving 500km a day, I’d like to see Tassie, I’d like to go to the tip of Mackay, and I’d like to take my car back to Melbourne where she was born, and just sightsee with no time limits or whatever, go fishing, gold panning, etc. maybe one day.

You shouldn't let the saw blade touch and dirt when your cutting logs. I see you've used an offcut to prop it like a seesaw and then it pulls away from the blade as you cut 👍 your learning how it's done

If I heard right and you bought a 50, be careful here in Australia bro. There's some real shady ones who do 2.5 as a 50 because of 2 sticks and a tenner. Not as common now, but still happens.
