ART MORRISON AND THE ROADSTER SHOP ARE TWO HIGH-QUALITY BRANDS THAT I TRUST. FOR ANY PROJECT.
Mon I just looked at your web page of the pictures you took of the 1948 Chevy Fleetline the detail that went into the build. Very nicely done and lots of hard work that went into the build.
I'm blown away by your craft. I would gladly take up the cleaners job at even half the pay just to work an learn from you.
Amazing technology, I wish I could have done that on my 1971 Camaro LS6 transplant.👍🏼
Keeping the Old Classic going with a modern twist
I totally agree...if you have the coins you will get a great ride. Most gear heads have to make do with what we can afford. It is what it is....
This.... This is what I've been looking for.
I want to do this for a 1960 Cadillac Fleetwood sedan.
Nice video. Thanks for taking the time to make and post.
Stunning work
THANK YOU SO MUCH. ART MORISON CHASSIS ARE GREAT AS WELL.
VERY NICE!
GOOD JOB MY FRIEND CONGRADULATIONS!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Best 4 minutes you'll spend if considering an AME chassis? ...we couldn't agree more!
I was looking at frames for a C10 this week [itching to make a 67 my next project] and have to say the attention to detail AM put into their work stands out from most others. Things like frame is NOT notched out to accomodate axle travel [a potential weal point], and key things placed inboard [rear shocks & arms] leaving clean room for tires. I just didn't find anything that would make me worry. Now... back to work. Can't afford to do squat this year except grab a title, lol.
I need that 55 210 post! I'd settle for a 383 w/ 5 speed auto. Yeah, I'm older and had my fill of manuals.
Thanks buddy....awesome works.
Amazing marketing, for from what I can see, is an amazing product. Out of my budget.... but thank you for your service of keeping these beauties alive. 🤙
Absolutely love the GTO ! Wish I could afford an AM chassis for my 69 LeMans.

Big money video... most of us have to stick with our Rat Rod looking cars. But thanks for the awesome video we can do a little bit of dreaming once in awhile
Rolling Works of Art...after my first million this shop will be the first place I visit...I dream of a bone stock appearing midnight blue 68 Fairlane GT coupe, with a built supercharged 302, 6 speed Ben Calimer stage 3 mt 82 with a trans specific twin disc, IRS with Ford Performance axles.6piston front,4piston rear brembos....and a blank check to these guys to design it.
I'd love to see the Beaming and Torsion test results on these.
Wow this man knows what he’s doing if I ever come into some money I’m going over there and buy him a beer and order mine he’s so cool larrysullivan in London cheers
Hey u just earned a new sub good job guys 💯

Awesome!

I'd like to do an early 90's F-150 onto a stiffer, lower frame with better suspension. If I use this brand would my truck steer, handle, and have the road feel of a more modern vehicle?
That’s great
Oh yeah. New gear under a Studebaker 👍🏼
American Dream 🇺🇸🗽
I need help. I have a chassis with two 4-in Round main frame rails. The seats are designed to sit on top of those rails. It puts your forehead above the windshield of the car which is a convertible. I need the seat to be at the bottom of those 4-in rails or at least at the halfway point. Therefore I need to cut them in half and rebrace or reroute them all together to get those seats down where they should be. Like a race car I should be as low as possible and I can achieve that by sitting in between the rails or halfway between the rails if that makes sense. Done a fair amount of fabrication but I don't want to make a big mistake here. I need to figure out how to take that load and redirect it so I don't lose the strength of the chassis. Any suggestions?
I like this work sir so please I need a job
Wish I had the money to put a art Mariano chassis under my 55
Do you make a frame/ chassis for a long bed 72 C10?
Do you make a chassis for a 68 dodge dart GTS powered by the original 340
American workmanship
I'm guessing $100K plus for the '55.
Is there a 1964 impala frame for convertible?
Can you get Chromoly Steell or is that above your expertise
They don't drive like crap with the original chassis, like he says, and I've had of them ...I am not saying that this isn't a good set-up. It's just that most of these cars are used as cruisers and these chassis are overkill for most people.
Can they build 1992-97 F-Series Truck chassis?
Art.
WOW.
Are you going to get into electric conversions?
DREAM CARS R US!
Nice work
I shared this with me nephew as he's looking for some one to do this type of work he was quoted for the complete build at $250,000?
The frame with an LS3 for $46000 !
Oooooooooh that super expensive
@@sbuwieguwie20 I can see why tho
I wonder about with just the chassis tho
Hi can u make hilux 2018 frame for RHD
Awesome cars, My 68 Impala would love a full chassis upgrade, as would my 75 and 79 Monza's, now to find the cash. Did I say awesome cars?
mike f I always liked both Monza body styles they didn't make them for very long as I remember and sadly I never got to own one I did see a couple of heavily modified Monza racecars in action at the Limerock racetrack back in The late 70s where I am from in Connecticut and thought that they would be an awesome little street rod with some added horse power of course I hope you get the money to do something with them because you just don't see those cars around very often and they are unique good luck with them
@@scottbarlow1397 I saw my first monza fall 1974 when they hit the dealers in Detroit and fell in love, had to have one. Bought my used 75 4cly 4 speed at Baliaeu Chevrolet Springfield Mass, Jan 1977. Drove the hell out of the car, started to build hopped up 4cyl before I moved back to Motor City May 79. Never made it to Limerock, kicking myself again. Vega motor build for turbocharger, ceramic coated pistons, gapless rings, self ported heads, headers, o-ring block, never got the turbo. Motor will turn almost 8000 rpm. It sat in garage until 1987 it's in storage with others picking it back up in 2020, now retired. Bought my 79 2+2 coupe 305 2bl auto off car wash parking lot June 2006. Floor kind of ruff some body rust, interior very clean, manual brakes. Bracket raced it at Milan Dragway, stock, as is 16.00 et car 13 inch tires, dealdly bracket car won 2 track (class)championships with it. Floor and body rust repairs underway, will return to racing/street with crate 350 in 2020. 79 has been under repair since June 2014. 14.00 is et goal drive in drive out. I could go on forever, but I am thinking of putting both resurrections on CZcams, got to look into how to do it, I get inspiration from other crazy Monza owners so I should kick some in. Thanks for good wishes. mf
@@mikef-gi2dg yeah I'm from New London County CT. My friends family had a dealership in N.Providence RI. Scuncio Chevrolet. They where taking brand new Novas, Camaro's , and some of the pickups in the late 60s and 70s and dropping factory smallblocks & bigblocks and selling them like that and I remember one of the mechanics got a hold of a brand new Monza and dropped a small block in it and a 4spd. That was little beast after he did that . . . brings back some cool memories
@@scottbarlow1397 Oh man the good old days...if you couldn't buy it find somebody to build it and have fun. I purchased a basic Chev 350 crate motor, put it in my v8 88 s-10 blazer, edelbrock performer can and intake, 350 trans, 2600 stall....broke it, in drove it, raced it...now it goes in 79 305 monza as is, trans and all. When I bought my 75 4 cly used I wanted a v8 but dealership said I was out of luck most likely everyone who owned a v8 monza wasn't giving them up, they were getting a lot of requests for v8 trade ins, nobody was giving them up. When I got my 79 in 06,it was running bad, somewhat beat up, but I understand why owners held on. I know IMSA Monza's were running at Lime Rock and I never made it down. Memories!
@@scottbarlow1397 I just typed a reply, don't know where it went? If you dont get anything other than this, I'll redo.
The cars look amazing but I don’t have anywhere near the cash that would be needed to have cars like those in the video. Oh well! One can dream.🤔
raymanretro Too late, I already did but then my wife showed me our bank balance. The dream was short lived.😳☹️😰
How much would that cost?
Boa tarde FIRST vai amém bom trabalho
I want to learn from you
Have you thought about doing an electric motor
LS9 1967 Chevelle SS please
Heroes
How much for a frame like this on a 1966 impala SS??
Way over priced.
How much for a dodge D-200
thats how you do it
My 71 Challenger would like this, but no big wheels
Yeah you know that a 71 challenger is a Unibody right lol . Can't replace a frame if it don't have one to replace .
@@jimbotheassclown There is a Company that makes a full length chassis/frame for the unibody Mopar (G Force),l was thinking this Co. did too
Assclown gets beclowned...News at 11:00 LOL.
I would keep the wheel size no larger than 16"
@billyfromtheusa I agree! 15" wheels are my preference as well.
A rolling chassis can show up at my door? For $30k
What is that music 👍
What’s a complete build average cost $100k plus? Need a blue oval build. 👍🏽
Joshua, every build is unique in cost depending on what our customer is looking for in performance/features....and if you are wanting just a chassis, or a fully painted, assembled, and powered roller. Feel free to give us a call at 541-341-3372
Do you guys have chassis for 67 - 72 C10 trucks? Long and short bed.
AME is developing a chassis currently that will be available soon...in the mean time we would recommend a Roadster Shop chassis, of which we are also a dealer if you have questions...541-341-3372.
@@metalworksclassicautoresto9583 Thank you
What did the chassis cost for that studebaker pick up? I have a 50
Todd, there is not a direct "bolt on" chassis for the Studebakers...we utilized Art Morrison's "Builder's Chassis." They are typically around $18-20k for a raw chassis. Here is a video that explains more about what a Builders Chassis is: czcams.com/video/6sXUTxI9018/video.html And here is a link to the Studebakers build: metalworksclassics.com/portfolio-page/1955-pro-touring-studebaker-pickup/
Where is your company and how much for one of your chassis for a 2004 Mercury Marauder?
We are located in Eugene, Oregon. Unfortunately we do not offer a chassis for that late model of a car. metalworksclassics.com/
Could some1 please explain to me what a Chassis does and why it helps to upgrade it?
Radically improves the drive ability, performance, braking, comfort, etc of a car. Basically like comparing the suspension and braking abilities of a 1967 Camaro to a 2020 Camaro...there is no comparison. By putting an AME chassis under your car, you can keep the classic looks, but with modern performance and handling.
@@metalworksclassicautoresto9583 Thank you for getting back with me. One more thing me and my wife is having a debate if we should spend the $17,000 on a Chassis or just get the air ride plus performance Suspension for $8,000. My goal is to have it ride like a 2015+ Camaro but my wife and buddy says they think it's a waste of money but i think it would actually be worth it...Anywho my wife came up with a great idea of riding in a car with the updated chassis so long story short my question is Do you have any display cars that you could take customers in?
Yeah as long as it got like a hundred grand assault and you're cool chassis motor easy easy money
Look in the AM catalog , a full rolling straight rear axle chassis is $ 19,000
I need to send my 66 C 10 to you
Can you do a 92 dodge d150?
Sorry, we are not aware of anyone doing a chassis for that late model of a truck. Art Morrison offers a "Builders Chassis"" but that is the only possibly I'm aware of...here is a video that goes into details on Builders Chassis: czcams.com/video/6sXUTxI9018/video.html
how much
cool, now do a 1967 G10 van.
Ron, Art Morrison offers their "Builders Series" chassis for such applications currently. Here is a video that explains more: czcams.com/video/6sXUTxI9018/video.html
This is all fine well & good,....if you're a multi-millionaire.
There are tons of them in this country (US).
Have you even gone to the effort to look at the AM catalog? A complete
unpainted rolling straight rear axle chassis for a 55-7 Chev with
brakes, shocks, rear center section is $ 19,000 While this is a fair
bit of $ , it hardly takes a 7 fig income.
@Geoff Gyro very true and just as good or better.
Why do you act so pompous ?
Need a price on complete chassis for my 69 chevy thankyou
Alfonso, please give Matt a call at the shop, he can get you a quote for your Chevy. 541-341-3372 take care.

The 9 thumbs down aren't Americans nor classic car lovers. These builds are all American builds..
I would like to put my 69 vette on a frame like yours what are my options thanks
Gene, the best way to hear about your options would be to give our shop a call at 541-341-3372.
Those are neat, I guess. But restomod/hot rod cars are kind of dime a dozen these days. Any car show you go to, virtually all of the cars are all the same shiny hot rods with flamboyant colors, ginormous V8s and loud exhausts.
Personally, I'd rather have a restored 55 Chevy 210, maybe with some modern conveniences but overall, a daily driver that looks like it was bought a couple years ago.
lol. Talk to them.
ChrisAlston vs ArtMorrison
That black Chevy is
""sweet""
Just opinion here. 2 things: I hope that blower is what is screaming in that car, because if that's the gearbox, its noisy( and I suspect its the supercharger). The ad should have mentioned other drivetrain packages besides LS. I'm sure they are offered. Just opinion.
Not like they drive like crap they are originals dude or would you like to put an LS in a model T
They are certainly magnificent hot rods.
It's just that if all this is possible then one may as well measure and fabricate a new sheet metal body for these chassis and leave the originals to be restored for heritage purposes rather than bastardising them.
Sorry but driving a original tri 5 is 3/4 of the fun . If i wanted it to drive like a 2019 vette i'd buy a 2019 vette .
We totally agree, driving a stock TriFive is fun, and we have restored many stock TriFives. The chassis swap is for individuals who want to maintain the classic looks of their TriFive, but have it perform closer to a modern car. For those who enjoy the feel of stock driver, we would never suggest a chassis swap.
Very nice, beautiful workmanship, however 99and 9/10s% of us can never afford it. One tenth of one percent can. Reality sucks.
Well the Goat lost me at LS swap. They should've built a Chevelle.
Yes, you can drive it anywhere: just as long as you have a seven figure income. Here in the real world, I can live with a car that doesn't handle like a new Corvette.
