Either way, he is ridiculously gorgeous, and his sweet personality and hypnotic eyes/voice make him irresistible. Utterly irresistible.

Dan Stevens' first starring film (2006) -- a cherubic, young, insanely gorgeous Dan, in a very intelligent and sensitive portrayal. Still my favorite Dan Stevens film to this day. Music score by Martin Phipps (Sense & Sensibility, War and Peace, The Crown, etc.) is achingly beautiful, and cinematography is breathtaking. Adapted by the esteemed Andrew Davies.
