Those 606 tires wear funny. Almost to knife points. I'm running an Anakee Wild on the front. Wearing awesome. Good grip in gravel also. Running the Motoz Tractionator Adventure on the rear. It sings a little on pavement but has all the grip when you need it. I just got in trouble from watching this video. I took off on my adv bike for a 5 mile ride. Wife was mad as hell. I was in a very bad motorcycle crash on July 12th. Spent 20 days in the hospital. Broke 4 ribs and left collar bone along with lacerations on my liver and spleen. I ended up losing my spleen.Lost 3 liters of blood into my chest cavity. Staples just came out two days ago. My Road King is destroyed all over a sharp piece of metal on the road at 45mph. I still have my adv bike and after watching this I had to ride. Not gonna lie. I was scared the whole 5 miles.
Do you know what stress I would have been under if instead of 7 more days it could have been 180 days in the pokey!! Don’t make me ride all the way out there just to keep you out of trouble!!! Carry on and chase down the adventure’s. I will be watching.
Oh man, I knew I remembered the Sunrise Grocery. Its at the turn for the Georgia Traverse. Great place to stop. Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories!!
damn look at the tray of food man never been there to that are I live really close to the dragon in Maryville TN so I will check into that area I ride street only at the time but never know what bike you may end up with down the road
I just watched your video. I am going to try to come to the next Smokies ride. I am looking for the video on the ride in Silverton, CO. I can't seem to find them. I rode most of the passes and gulches 2 years ago. Loved it. My videos are under Lamar Durden. Along with my videos from Silverton are videos of the Hatfield McCoy Buffalo Mtn ride in W Virginia.
See now I had a spare tube and all the tools but if I’d been there and not finishing my brisket then the Lord couldn’t have provided a pit crew! At 24:00

Flats with tubes, hate them. Once I discovered BMW's tubeless tires I need went back. Plugs work just fine and safe on front or back. Ride safe.

Will the zip tie method work on the back tire also, look like it made it easier?
Yes…. Works on the rear tire also. Get a Tire Valve Stem Fishing Tool. Makes things a lot eaiser to get the valve steam started.
