I had to go through serious detachments to break free and embrace the essence inside me. I used to be a scared introvert until I gave up alcohol and began clearing out toxic ideas, emotionally unhealthy people from friends and family. Life is calmer now and I'm learning how to walk again.

I am a Sigma and this is all BS. We are not all knowing kindly supermen. We are simply intelligent loners who do not play by societies rules. Within those parameters there are all kinds of personality types vices and strengths. This has no basis in reality. Look to Jungian personality typing for more accuracy.
Sigma's and bipolar women are like oil and water. Bipolar tendencies make them unpredictable not only day to day, but hour to hour. If their mood can change on a dime, avoid them at all costs. Of course, the same is true for women dating bipolar men, but much more so for us Sigma's who value our time and don't tolerate BS drama.

I try and explain my side and viewpoint, and if I think there is even a shred of possibility in educating, I stick around and point out the truth or problems with the other side's way of thinking. Not trying to argue, trying to help. Sadly, I am cursed with nearly infinite and eternal hope for mankind, so I see that shred of of possibility in too many cases. With includes relationships... so, I tend to hold on to them for long periods of time, unless the problem is one that is a definite no-no. A woman I was with, once, did that, and my response was "Go F yourself, never talk to me again". Not in anger, just matter of fact. She crossed a line that she knew not to cross with me, rendering our relationship done. So #2 is iffy. As for #1... After giving up hope in relationships, and being pushed (growing up where people marry high school sweethearts straight out of school, and a family always prying and 'encouraging' - leading to feeling desperate in a lot of ways by 25 years old), I ended up with someone I knew for about a half a year, but seemed perfectly matched for the important parts, and ok in the other areas - but after a few years ended up being extremely problematic. However, NOW, all of this fits. Just pointing out that it might not fit perfectly for ALL Sigmas, and at ALL times of their lives. This is a generality for them, not a "You must be all of these, always, to be one!" type thing.
