“Quick” INSTALL of Dump Bed Insert

Installing a dump bed inserts back into my 2001 Ford F3 50. Using a caterpillar 302.1 mini excavator.
I installed quick disconnect fittings on all the electrical connections for Power and Comptroller . This makes the job very easy and quick.
I also installed new bed bolts with never seize on the threads.

I'm probably picking up a dumper dogg 6' for my 2500 silverado tomorrow. Just curious of all mount with the bed bolts with those extensions? Or if some are drilled through the bed and bolted down with new hardware. Anyway, nice install, you make it look super easy.

If your bed bolts are rusted and you can not take them out, try welding grade 8 bolts upside down to the bed bolt heads. The inserts NEED to be bolted to the frame!!
That is what I did originally before I took bed off for repairs. A place that installs them told me that’s how they do it on fords.
Obviously it’s better to get old bolts out and then use NEW bolts and nuts.
