I'm building a 61 that was the first truck I owned in 1984, considerably older now, I scared myself when I started back on it. I couldn't believe some of the things I did to it back then to be able to drive it. I got hooked when I was about 11 and I got a ride home in my brothers 61. It was raining and he nailed it, smoke and burning rubber every where and I was hooked!

Already built my 1st CZcams motor 5yrs ago and still runs strong with 4l80..funny thing is my neighbors told me the same thing when they saw me fitting that yoke to my driveshaft..I'm sure they thought it would never run let alone be reliable..good job sir..

What led tail lights and where did you find tinted lenses ? im building a 60 gmc shortbox right now with a turbo ls and have been searching for tinted lenses and good led taillights, i have dapper 575 led headlights want led tail lights to match

When he said " I drive the Shit out of it" I wanted to jump up and scream "YEAH!!!"! Nothing against the guys that don't, but I for one would drive the wheels off of it. Doing a '33 Ford Vicky right now, and believe me, she's gonna be rode hard and hung up wet!

Did he get the color custom made? If it's a stock color the metallic flakes have indigo in them. Thats the purple shine you can see in the body side views.

750+ easily on a 565 M block. You kids need to learn yourselves on big blocks. A alcohol stroked 56X+ can easily pull 1000hp on an engine dyno. With those heads he's probably making it up high in the powerband.
Topper Harley exactly bro, everyone wants an LS build blah blah but nothing beats the power you can get out of a big block. These people really don’t know they just go on based what everyone does. I’m 21 and I love a big block powered vehicle better than any other engine!
He's got a lot of traction for having that much power?! Something isnt right. I'm running a 335 drag radial. I've got no traction with 500 horse. I'm gonna move the motor back this winter.
@@angelmotorsportsyanez2135 The 8.1 "LS" usually isn't messed with due to the fact the heads are 3500 bucks a side. Stroked out and done right they're not that bad. There's really only a handful of guys using them just due to cost. It would be cheaper to build a LC9 LQ9 LM7 or LS1-LS7
