  • Sorry this one is a bit long but I wanted to go over a lot of my painting process as I could in my 1st painting video. I also had an unexpected problem with Createx paint so those issues with Createx support are also discussed and I also try out a new airbrush.

    Nice spray booth. I usually paint the interior/headliner just before final assembly but then I have to worry about paint getting on the glass, or damaging the exterior finish so this sort of makes sense to do the headliner first! You might have just taught me something or made me realize there might be a better way! Take care my new friend!

      Ed's Attention To Detail something I didn’t mention in the video with that is to make sure before you clear coat it is to pull the tape away from the window edges or you’ll have a mess the fix afterwards. Not much just a little bit. Glad you found something helpful.

    Just got an air compressor, air brush and a 302 Boss Model Kit as my first build. I guess I’m mostly nervous about painting it.

      Practice. Get you an old body or ever a piece of scrap Styrene (plastic) and practice. Don’t practice on a good body that y’all have to whined up stripping several times to make it right.

    just curious if you had a chance to figure out the Paasche. Very nice video Thank you

    • @FuelsModels
      @FuelsModels  Před 3 lety

      Yeah the nozzle has to be a lot tighter than what I’m used to. Like my iwata has the very small nozzle so you don’t want to crank on it at all but the paasche has a large and you do have to a little, but lately I haven’t had much luck with using the fan head attachment for some reason. So I’m still trying to figure it out somewhat. Thanks for watching
