You can do aggressors with auto cannon from a imperial weapons kit to the mid backpack on the righter pin side two mm drill plug with mag add to the base pin off the auto cannon especially if your doing a 5 man squad no terminator heavy so disappointed ☹️. May have a post on the Warhammer 40k community OGW.....now heavy incinerator with a left power fist serg flamer and twin plasma on that ball back pack with the hell storm should be it's base rapid one tactical troops 30points mmmm...😃😄😁😆😅 5 Smile's.

They didn’t. They’re still in the tau codex, but there is a kroot specific detachment called the Kroot Hunting Party.
This is exactly the sort of creative approach to unit design that I tune into your channel for.
Kroot get a new, heavy battle armour variant... "That doesn't sound right. Make it a heavy mounted unit."

Honestly the idea of a Broadside Battlesuit piloted by a Kroot does sound really interesting.
Could at least make a Broadside battlesuit where the pilot was good friends with them and decided to customize it to be kroot-like.
Was considering doing something similar to how he did the rider here, but clinging to the side of a battlesuit from straps/mesh of some kind. A go between between the kroot vanguard and the T'au
My boyfriend and I are doing a kroot piloted Ghost Keel for a 1000pts list that's half a Tau / Demiurge doubles list.
the work on the gold parts is so good. The whole thing is amazing as usual but the gold is just so eye catching

Honestly, pack a squad of stealthsuits in there too and the Broadside is still operating at ~95% capacity. Especially with the buff to the Stealthsuit's guiding/spotting ability.

I've always loved the idea of making full armies from the "side factions" like the Kroot. The other two being Tzaangors and Sisters of Silence.

I love Kroot! Kroot are super cool and one of my favorite races from WH40k's universe. They're just super cool both in visual design as well as their lore. They're super fascinating, and I always feel that they need more representation. Good to see the new Codex expanding on them!
I remember seeing some "Kroot Battlesuits" that were converted from Sylvaneth Kurnoth models from AoS.
Edit: yeah, so it's in a Kroot vs Guard battle report here on YT. The 40k Bunker.
i kit bashed a kroot piloting a ghostkeel a few weeks ago. fewer armor plates and more dead animal bits really made it look like it fit the kroot aesthetic but i dont think i can do too many of my kit bashes that way and continue to maintain the aesthetic. so i think the rest of my kit bashes for the army will likely follow more along the lines of something like this kroot ox broadside.
Watching both your sculpting and painting skills develop from when you started to now genuinely inspires me. Your early stuff was really good, but this model was something else. Keep up the great work mate!

Great video, I wanted to do something similar since I saw the kroot hunting kit. I just never though that I would be able to do it. So seeing someone else do it really makes it feel like a reachable goal. Now I can't wait to make a full army like this.
