I remember these I ended up with almost all of these when I was a kid.
I either won them from the claw candy machine at our local Walmart, since they had the single cards in the plastic top loaders for the cards, found them, or used what little money I had to buy the cheap ones or try to win the claw candy machine.
0:10 I remember found my Venusaur card crumpled up in front of a bags of card on the shelf of the candy section of my local Walmart.
0:13 and 0:18 Won my Charmander Charmeleon cards first try from the claw candy machine at my local Walmart for 25¢.
0:21 I remember finding a Pokémon tin of these Charizard cards along with other now rare early Pokémon cards at a rummage sale when I was I guess 14, long before they were valued at the prices they are now.
I keep them all somewhere safe locked away.
0:26 Won my Squirtle card first try for 25¢ from the claw candy machine at my local Walmart.
0:33 There were a bunch of these Blastoise cards as well in that Pokémon tin with the Charizard cards.
0:37 Funny story as a kid I found my Caterpie card under a bush outside in the play area of a Hardee's in another town from us. I found that funny back then. Finding a grass Pokémon card in a grass setting.🤣
3:24 I remember paying 50¢ for the Meowth card from a card shop in a local mall as a kid.
I ended up finding a yellow Pokémon card binder with Bulbasaur on it from the local Goodwill for 50¢ and put all the cards I'd get in it along with the Burger King cards that were given away in sheets for Pokémon The First Movie.
Unfortunately, I think my mom got rid of my Bulbasaur card binder with everything in it.
