I took a fall at work broke a rib, messed up both shoulders and my left wrist that required surgery...soft cast/brace lighter, easy to sleep in and not so itchy.. healing time for me was way easier with the soft cast

I remember playing three years of junior high bb. I started at 13 and that’s the number I chose for my jersey. After that my number went up to what ever year I was going to turn made things a little more fun for me.

Justin I have a metal plate in my right wrist with 13 screws and 12 nuts. It’s been a few yrs now and it’s still holding up
Be really careful with that metal plate. A friend of mine broke her arm, got a metal plate & a couple weeks later her doctor told her that she could start doing normal things again. She was shopping & she picked up a couple bags & they slipped down from her palm to her fingers & that was just enough to snap that metal plate.. Doctor told her the plate shouldn't have broke. So the plate must have been defective.

OUCH Ribs hurt can take months to heal. If you got the breathing gadget with the ball, use it. very beneficial in being able to take deep breaths again.

That SofaTutor thing is kinda like the ABC Mouse program they show on Nickelodeon commercial breaks. Turin sure was shooting hoops really well. He kinda looked like Michael Jordan 😃🙄.
Justin, I’m so glad that it came off. Feet take a long time to heal but it goes fast. I went from cast to boot within a week. I will still wear the brace, but only if I do a lot of walking. Keep up the great work and keep getting better every day.

Had surgery on my toes it was not fun to have a shoe on for 2to 4 weeks and then I was in a boot for 4 weeks because of a high ankle sprain. Hope you recover quickly and you will get back to doing normal soon.
I had pins in a broken collar bone that snapped by just having a small bump against it. Be careful
Oh wow incredible how blessed to have a plate and screws and no hard cast! Is there any chance a magnet will stick to your hand where the metal plate is, I always wanted to ask someone this question. Glad you’re healing up!

Femur fractures are the worse. I'm still recovering ten months later. I fell in my driveway from black ice on the day after April fool's of this past year. Double break.

I had a hairline fracture in my left wrist when i was 14, happened when I was riding my ten-speed and my bike looked worst than i did, my front tire looked like a pizza with a couple of slices missing! had a dent in my leg,,,, but i got a wrap around cast instead of a hard one,,,, boooo! i wanted a hard one for people to sign, oh well,,,,, Praying for healing for you Justin,,,, take care
I broke my wrist around 2 months ago needed surgery I went to the doctor for my follow up appointment and I had 2 pins sticking out of my wrist, I almost passed out when I saw them. Then 2 weeks later I had to go back for another follow up appointment and I got the pins out, The doctor took needle nose pliers wigged them then yanked them out one at a time. It hurt so bad getting them out.

Justin better back off trying to push his recovery, if you don’t give the bone time to get good regrowth you can reinsure more easily at a later date. I pushed my back recovery after getting a neurostimulator placed and at times the pain is back to where the pain started so hopefully with talking to a therapist I can get better relief.

I have had 52 operations in my life but still cannot watch things like this on TV or volgs sorry I had to fast forward because it makes my tummy feel funny but anything to do with me iam OK even when I was awake having my leg amputated didn't feel it as was num from wast down .

"Stinky carpool" Welcome to all the teachers who teach freshmen except multiple by 30. Every year, I would hear about how awful the freshmen are to teach because they smell so bad. I only taught freshmen for one year, and there were only 35 students between my two morning classes. To make up for the small number of freshmen that year, I had 75 juniors in two classes. Plus, there were 60+ sophomores. Sophomores start using cologne and perfume and tend to reapply between every class. Where was my classroom? Looks like you guys have a jam packed year ahead of you…kicking it off with the first work trip to Mexico 🇲🇽 (with 2 more potential work trips, location and if actually going is TBD atm). Then, we go into Ava’s dance comp season with already an upcoming dance comp in St George with her 3 group dances and 1 solo (and I’m sure many many more dance competitions to come). Then we go into Ava getting baptized later this year…Justin’s recovery ❤️🩹 and pin removal…to the “surprise” trips u guys will go on, and the usual planned and summer trips and vacations coming up!!! All this to say…🎉Excited to see what 2023 has in stores for the OLIH family❤
