  • Alibaba Group Holding has announced that its proprietary Large Language Models (LLMs), known as Qwen or Tongyi Qianwen, have been adopted by over 90,000 corporate clients. This is part of the company’s strategy to attract users to its generative AI services, as it competes with other tech giants in China.
Qwen is utilized across a variety of industries, from consumer electronics to automobiles and online games, and boasts clients like Xiaomi. The technology chief at Alibaba Cloud, Zhou Jingren, stated at a company event in Beijing that Qwen has been widely accepted by their enterprise customers, leading to numerous innovative applications across different sectors. In addition to this, more than 2.2 million corporate users have access to AI services powered by Qwen through DingTalk, Alibaba’s office collaboration platform. LLM technology forms the foundation for a new generation of AI tools, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Sora.
In Summary, what is the outlook for Qwen, here are some key points:
    1. Growing Adoption: Since its introduction in China a year ago, Qwen has seen a rapid increase in enterprise users. Over the last 12 months, Qwen has attracted over 90,000 enterprise adoptions and over 2.2 million corporate users from DingTalk, Alibaba’s intelligent collaboration platform.
    2. New Additions: In response to increasing demand for AI solutions, Alibaba Cloud has introduced the latest addition to its Qwen model family, Qwen2.5.
    3. Open-Source Contributions: Alibaba Cloud has continued its commitment to the open-source community by releasing a series of new Qwen models.
    4. Competitive Position: Alibaba Group’s large language models (LLMs) have been adopted by more than 90,000 corporate clients, as the Chinese tech giant competes against rivals to draw users to its generative artificial intelligence services.
Alibaba Cloud’s CTO, Zhou Jingren, expressed excitement about the robust and growing momentum of the Qwen family of large language models, which are embraced by enterprise customers across various industries. He also mentioned that Alibaba Cloud will continue to enhance the capabilities of its models and enrich its suite of AI development services to enable even more innovative applications for its customers. Alibaba just like TikTok, BYD, and Shein, and they will surely go ballistic once it's proven domestically in China.

Alibaba is the one to watch in AI due to the fact that it has the largest merchant database in the world and that's why it can penetrate the merchant community so quick and so large. With AI, Alibaba is gonna release plenty of new features helping merchants to make faster and efficient trading among themselves. Congrats!
