I was kinda late to the party, too. đ I heard of Billie and her music for the first time around mid last year and have become totally addicted to her work and her voice since then.
She's the most interesting, talented and creative music artist, I've discovered in decades! For sure!
I kinda envy you that you can explore her music for the first time, I wish I could do that all over again, it was a fantastic journey! There's not one song that I don't like, and none of 'em sounds like the other.
Billie's gonna turn 19 in a couple of days, but has already had a musical career for 5 years!
She writes all her songs (with her older brother Finneas, who's also her sole producer).
She creates the visuals for her videos, she even began to direct them.
Streams of her music and videos count billions worldwide, she's had the most successful album in 2019, she's the most streamed female artist on Spotify worldwide in 2019 and 2020.
She won 5 Grammys at the beginning of this year (and many other awards) and recently received 4 more Grammy nominations.
She wrote the theme song for the upcoming James Bond movie.
She sold out a world arena tour in minutes.
Her well-deserved success didn't come just by luck, but has been the result of hard work and a lot of talent.
On top of all that, Billie's a well-trained, fantastic vocalist and a natural performer. She's literally the only singer, who can make me cry just by the beauty of her voice.

Her older brother is her co-writer and producer. They did most of their recording in his bedroom of their childhood home. Now, I believe they do it in his basement.

Billie has a ton of great songs, most of which have this kind of depth. She even directs most of her videos. There's a few silly ones thrown in there, but mostly, she's very expressive in her music â„. Try When The Party's Over, idontwannabeyouanymore, Hostage, Ilomilo, Everything I Wanted, I Love You, My Future. I could go on and on, but really I haven't found one I don't love â„
