you sir are a tactician of the level of Alexander the Great, Julius Cesar, Rommel, Zhukov etc..., therefore you have earned my like and my subscription
I've played this game for far too long, and I actually learned a thing or two here. Please keep doing these as they are on an entirely different level from what I've seen prior to this.
This is the best faction review I have seen. The tips are amazing. Though I was again baffled at how similar our army comps are. I had the same army comp when I was playing the Mauryans as you had in your series. Even here I use the same comp (just with 4 tier 1 troops instead of 3 and 2 tier 3 instead of 3) . The oblique order was a great addition though. I also have similar policy regarding cavalry with minimum of 4 and max of 6, with a variety of light and heavy cavalry.
Once again, my friend, I need to praise you for the great work you've done here. Surely is the best faction overview I've seen for this game. In depth, considering population, reforms and traditions. Really, really delightful content. Keep them coming! Hahah
This what I want it to see from you!!! This is next lvl and I hope this type of reviews will flow 🤗 from now on...rly rly but rly nice job Brother 👏 👌 👍
funnily enough i just started a sparta playthrough yesterday - among other mods, i am using the better vassal levies submod in order to build varied armies with the best of each faction i subjucate using spartan hoplites as the backbone of each one :)
Hey Summary, question; the plus 2 unit experience to the melee infantry seems to be only 1 more then al other units recruited in DEI (Sparta or otherwise). So the melee attack and defense boni are already distributed among all other factions. Only the plus 1 morale seems to be unique to Sparta, which seems a bit weak compared to other factions (and redundant to a faction notorious for it's already high morale). Will the standard plus 1 unit experience be removed from al other factions?
Every spartan is a noble why do they not all have chainmail/bronzeplate in the later reforms? Always felt weird to me. Also why remove the thorax hoplites instead of having thorax pikes and hoplites?
Sparta was way past its prime, and most of the Spartans in the late game are actually emancipated Helotes, not nobles, to fill the ranks of Spartas armies as they had a severe population crisis.
Shame they removed the spartan thorax hoplites, I prefer the look of them over the reformed ones, also the colors wouldn't hurt if they were more red than orange. Regardless Sparta is Sparta always feel badass playing as them 😊
What is the point of ever recruiting any other hoplites when you have access to Guest Hoplites which are cheaper in pop and also just straight up better
Me again 😀, would you use the population army system on any other faction apart of Rome? Trying to figure out how It would be done with the successor kingdoms
Should be used as much as possible for all factions. With Rome it is easy because their Auxilia comes from pop4. With other factions try to replace certain units with mercenaries and AOR units. Focus on your faction strengths and where you have identical or better options from mercenaries and AOR, go for them. If I am playing as the Antigonidai for example, - General from pop1, unavoidable. - Cavalry from pop1. - Pike core from pop2. - Melee troops from pop4, pretty similar suggestions to the guide for Mercenary and AOR options. - Ranged troops, usually shouldn't take casualties, so doesn't really matter, but if you can pop4 these units nothing like it.
Hi summary quick question here,, why i dont have spartan as playable faction in my dei grand campaign? Is that a thing or did the faction lock behind dlc?

Amateurs talk tactics, professionals talk logistics. 😅

Thank you for the compliment. We are tactical twins by the looks of it! 😎
Thank you! The explanation behind your formation is really good. Probably the most in depth guide I've seen in terms of faction's battle tactics

Thank you Uthred, son of Uthred of Bebbanburg!
BEST faction review i've ever seen. The Battle tips was awesome.

Looks great can’t wait to return from my vacation this Friday to test this amazing job
Best of luck, I am sure you will enjoy Sparta. Let me know how it goes. And enjoy your vacation bruh!
Excellent review, thank you. Turns out I was doing everything wrong as Sparta! haha
Damn, I was sleeping on this wasn't I? Great job dude.

Will be coming soon!
Superb guide, gj.
Bro is restless 🤙🏼 keep up love ur content
Haha, thank you, bruh.
Sparta campaign in 1.3.2 is actually really fun.
funnily enough i just started a sparta playthrough yesterday - among other mods, i am using the better vassal levies submod in order to build varied armies with the best of each faction i subjucate using spartan hoplites as the backbone of each one :)
Nice. Best of luck have fun, Spartan Thorax Pikes are dope also. I personally added them to DEI. 😃
Hey man. Hiding behind my walls while being sieged is a perfectly valid strategy when playing Syracuse. I’m not an idiot swear 😂
Haha lol
Watched this and restarted my Sparta play though. %100 better.
Nice glad to hear this helped out.

No, not really any changes there. But yea, the bonus can't be made stronger. As it would be OP.
@@TWSummary I agree, but what exactly then is the reasoning behind giving the general +1 unit experience to all factions
the best hoplite unit is from Carthage late reforms and you can spam them in the campaign as far as i understand. i need your mod to play them again

Dangg. I really liked the thorax hoplites
amazing! u should do ones for carthage and rome
Absolutely, I will make these for Carthage, Roma, and all the factions possible.
I miss the good spartan helmet like from the parabelum mod..
Shame they removed the spartan thorax hoplites, I prefer the look of them over the reformed ones, also the colors wouldn't hurt if they were more red than orange. Regardless Sparta is Sparta always feel badass playing as them 😊
I can't recruit most units in the mod, is there any way to fix this?
really like the general skill tree and army traditions. What do u use to edit savegames ?
It's called save parser. Check the link in the description of my Roma series (Episode 01)
What is the point of ever recruiting any other hoplites when you have access to Guest Hoplites which are cheaper in pop and also just straight up better
I really find that auto resolving with Sparta to be an issue due to the high tier troops.
Absolutely 💯

Hi summary quick question here,, why i dont have spartan as playable faction in my dei grand campaign? Is that a thing or did the faction lock behind dlc?
Faction is locked behind a DLC
Please, can you do an army guide for every Roman reform?
I was planning to do that yes.
Can we see a sparta playthrough in the future?
If it wins the next vote, then sure!
Hey what visual mods do you use?
@damonhawkes2057 you can check it out in my seleucid let's play series description. And I use a reshade as well.
@@TWSummary oh great thanks man
Is there any place where there is an up to date overview of Area of Recruitment units?
You can check it all out one the Divide Et Impera Website.

I changed my mod order to yours and now is making this mistake I have turned the agent variety mod on and off and is still doing this 🤦🏽♂️
The realistic mod doesn't work for me without having ghost agents 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
Which realistic mod?
Maybe I have the same problem as well. Let me check. If you are using the exact same mods I am using, it shouldn't cause an issue.

How did you give your General and Army Max rank? I can’t really understand it🥲
