@@Santro-Maximus Hi Santro, these things don't have a time set in stone. Since it is mostly done by people in their free time. But regardless for the most part DEI beta packs don't cause incompatibility issues when integrated into the main mod. So if you play with 1.3.4 public beta most likely you will be able to transition into the update version when it eventually releases.

@@cerdic6586 yes I have played a campaign as them. I find the RotR Syracuse interesting roster wise. Although this Syracuse is also interesting with a decent roster.

While I think they're more interesting in the other two campaigns, GC Syracuse is pretty cool. A greek faction that has good swords even before reforms and the gastraphetes have to be mentioned as well.

@@cerdic6586 It isn't great, but it doesn't have to be since your neighbors aren't great at cav either. It didn't really hinder me at all from defeating everyone in the western Mediterranean in my Syracuse campaign.

@@vergilroth How did you conquer the western Mediterranean? I reset my Syracuse campaign about a dozen times because Rome and Carthage swarmed me. Then, in my last reset, I decided to migrate to Hellas and begin anew from there, which proved to be quite successful.

@@hansthetigertank7520 you can have a maximum of 34 mods at most. Anything more than that will cause weird problems and the game to crash.

@@hansthetigertank7520 also to give factions via esf I haven't don't that ever. I either use the timbe trade regions submod or there is a submod with a script that can be used.

@dottie911 play the turbulent situation to your advantage. Snipe Mazaca or Amaseia, by declaring war on Katpatukka or Pontus, respectively, when they are weak fighting each other. Avoid Sinope as that only opens a new front to deal with. Avoid getting too close to Armenia they are unreliable. Use the Ptolomy to secure an alliance and to join war against Lydia to avoid fighting the Seleucids head-on. Once you own Mazaca and all of Lydia lands, clean out Pergamon Bithynia and Rhodos. Then, you should be strong enough to hold Sinope and push into the Seleucids. Hopefully, the army guide will help you manage your Galatian army. At this point, you can choose to expand in any direction. You can backstab the Ptolemids and secure Aiguptos. Or you can invade Thrace. Or you can venture around the Black Sea coast and take out the Bosporan Kingdom and Armenia. Or you can venture South East into the Persian heartland.

The first full army I made as Galatia was: 8 levy spears 8 levy swords 8 naked spears 8 slingers 4 light cav 4 medium cav Worked pretty well, I like Galatia's levies, especially since the levy spear reforms into possibly the best thureos spear unit imo.
