- Fans of Chrisley Knows Best might think they’re familiar with all of the Chrisley family drama, but it turns out that Todd Chrisley has a lot more going on than you see on his USA reality show. His relationship with Lindsie, his daughter from his first marriage to Teresa Terry, has been pretty difficult over the years, which fans got a glimpse of when she left the show after five seasons. What you didn't see on air were the accusations that Todd abducted her from Terry when their difficult marriage fell apart in the early ‘90s. Apparently he’s also sour about Lindsie’s marriage. I think Julie treats all the kids the same, she doesn’t show overly emotional to any of them. Todd hoovers over the grandbaby , but she shows a more connective feeling towards Julie. And Savannah’s is her big sister. All in all they are like any other family going through the ups and downs of relationships. I love the Chrisley’s.

@Brittany Robertst's hard to see one parent usually the dad go on to have new family with kids that are supposed to be your brother or sister yet they live a whole different life than you did. It's always second set of kids who get more of dad and dad's money.
Hmm... IF Julie didn’t want anything to do with Todd’s first 2 kids, why is she raising Kyle’s little girl as her own?? Also, if someone turned me into the Feds for financial crimes & tried to ruin me, I would not post their pictures on social media in a Father’s Day post either.
I love Todd Chrisley because he is a real father and husband who loves his children but takes no mess from them! There should be more shows like this.
Kyle doesn't talk to his family but he's letting his father raise Chole? Meaning... he doesn't have a relationship with his his daughter. So, how can he be the best father if his daughter doesn't even know him.
My understanding was that this comment about him being the best father was made when he left the show almost 6 years ago. He had planned on trying to get his daughter back. But right now and since the beginning, Todd and Chloe's mom share 50/50 custody of Chloe and in the beginning around Season 1 and 2 this was said because of Kyle's problems so he could have a relationship with his daughter, but now the custody agreement is still in place. I'm not sure what the relationship is like now, however.

Why only discuss Kyle? The child has a mother. Where is Chloe's mom? I'm sure having Chloe on the show is profitable for some people.

@ Tarnika Phillips....Not long after Todd & Julie were married, Julie adopted Lindsey as her daughter. If a person is going to adopt a child, that child should not be treated any different than your biological children. And Julie did treat Lindsey differently.

I’m going to have to call BS on this. You are speculating that Lindsay left the show and was upset that Todd used her divorce as a plot line for the show. This makes no sense. If Lindsay was upset and that is why she quit the show how do you explain the fact that she filmed for two more seasons with the show?

There’s no reason he shouldn’t talk to his daughter or see his grandchild. Him and the rest of the family don’t follow her on ig. Probably because of Todd. They also didn’t even mention her doing a podcast or anything when they made a whole episode about trying to start a podcast.

I am so happy she decided to share what happened in her marriage. I did the same thing after our daughter was born. It is always therapeutic to learn that you are not alone in certain situations.
I like Lindsey! I think a podcast or lifestyle blog/instagram is the perfect avenue for her! She wasn’t much fun on the show but not everyone is made for tv. She seems like she’s way more comfortable behind the scenes.

This is not unusual for children from a previous family. I had a step mother who hated my brother and I !! and I resented him for the rest of my life! how does a man reject any of his children over another woman???
Thats sad. I'm sorry. My step mom is like my best friend and I've always thought of her as my mom..no step! I am a step mom as well and have always loved my stepdaughter like my own. Sadly her dad died a few years ago but shes still my daughter and I still see her all the time
Same! My step-mom is evil. She came into our lives with 4 kids of her own all older and claimed my dad for her kids right off the bat. Now she has grandkids and it's doubled. Mind you, my brother, sister, and I are on the outs because she doesn't give two shits. She even moved into our childhood home, and removed all of our pictures replacing them with her kids and has it in my dads head that she's just making it her home and needs to feel comfortable.
Tood doesn't seem to be rejecting his children at all. His 2nd wife legally adopted his daughter from his 1st marriage. They raised her and she seems just fine. His 1st wife would have had to sign away her rights or giving permission for the child to be adopted. That's not the simplest thing to do. And his son who wasn't adopted into the family for whatever reason is the child that's troubled. And that does not necessarily make him a bad person. There's clearly much much more to the story. Being on TV is not an easy thing and most of the time when parents choose to do these type of shows the children don't sign up for the lime light they just happen to fall into it. It's not really unusual or a bad thing for Lindsay to kind of fall in and out of it as she figures out her own life.

I Love The Chrisleys! Never miss it. . . even if it is reruns! What is Normal? There isn't a normal family , we are all dysfunctional in some form but what makes this show so great IS they put it ALL Out there! AND they are funny!

Its so easy to acuse step moms of pushing their spouse kids away. Wasn't until I become a step mother that I experienced first hand the challenges . it's a very lonely journey . You have to give beyond your limitations in order to not be accused of being this and that.

This is the perfect example of why it's stupid to get married at 19 or before the age of 25. From 19 to 25 your entire worldview will change simply by being in college or the workforce. And, you will be a completely different person by the time you're 30, as well. There is a big difference between education/knowledge and the application of that knowledge.

Each of us has changed - many times, in many ways - since we were teenagers, yet we GREW TOGETHER. We have 35 years of shared experiences, yet each of us has our own worldview, our own opinions, our own beliefs, and our own expectations. Individuality does not negate compatibility. Young love is no more doomed than love found later in life when growth and change are both expected and respected. I’m not fond of blanket statements in general, but take special exception to yours.

I love Chrisley family. I have watched the soap since it began; but during the pandemic I re-watched all the shows.
I wish we could go back to the days that everyone just lifted others up. And no one really new other peoples buisness. People didnt judged much and no tracked down everybodys flaws in front of the whole world. I just missed the days where everybody just worried about themselves and stayed busy.

Old Fashion Mommy Everyone wants to be something they're NOT! Have you noticed everything that's negative is good and vice versa? Back in the day we had sitcoms that gave you a solution to a problem. Nowadays we have so called reality shows that basically show grown ups acting like children. They're only concern is talkn trash and caring about designer material things for a whole hour.
