Today we are riding along with the Electric Museum Tram Line Amsterdam, on the only remaining piece of track of the Haarlemmermeer Railway lines. Historically a unique journey that HAD to be recorded by Cabview Holland! We are filming from the PCC 1024, built in 1952 and employed by the Haagse Tramweg Maatschappij until 1981. In addition to the historical awareness, it was also thanks to the dedicated staff, a special and fun experience. More info on the EMA site: www.museumtraml.... Vandaag rijden we mee met de Electrische Museumtramlijn Amsterdam, op het enige overgebleven stukje spoor van de Haarlemmermeerspoorlijnen. Historisch gezien dus een unieke reis die door Cabview Holland vastgelegd MOEST worden! We filmen vanaf de PCC 1024, gebouwd in 1952 en in dienst bij de Haagse Tramweg Maatschappij tot 1981. Naast het historisch besef was het mede dankzij het toegewijde personeel een bijzondere en leuke ervaring. Meer info op de site van de EMA: www.museumtraml.... Being a conductor on that line sure looks like a good way to keep fit!
Outstanding video! It's like a throwback to old time railroading...a signalman with a red flag and whistle at grade crossings, manually setting switches and signals, etc. I hope that conductor/brakeman/signalman is well compensated and has good health benefits. He's the one guy keeping that line running. And, there's one of those on each tram. Well done!

If you do, remember that the Netherlands is more then Amsterdam. Actually, todays Amsterdam dont represent the Netherlands at all. It represent the middle east a lot better.
@@jpsholland Yep. Same here. But I think I'd like to visit places like maybe Amersfoort. Amsterdam, where I'm sure it's a great city, seems to me like it would be more of a "tourist trap". Smaller less visited places would be my speed.

The tram has a ringtone like in the church. What is the model of the tram? The tracks look old. Most of the rides are equipped with red lights as at the railroad crossings. 12:07-too, there is someone like a railway team. On those crossings that do not have signaling. 12:40-On the left is the gearbox. Same as in railways. But the sights. How old are they? The tracks look neglected. And what stops. Overgrown, without a world, no half-furs only practically the nature itself. 23:09 is also a monument. The doors look sliding. The tracks look as if they were never repaired. It all looks as if the time stopped in place. 31:17-Cool. Tram rides, rides, rides and suddenly bushes. And then what is, because you can see that the tracks fall deep into the bushes.

The tracks are from the former Haarlemmermeer-Spoorlijnen (Haarlemmermeer-tracks). When these tracks were closed for regular service, parts of it remained and eventually became the Amsterdam tram museum. Overhead-wiring was 'donated' by the cities' public transport company GVB and has not been replaced ever since as far as I know. The tram museum is driven mainly by volunteers and if there is any funding by city-council, it's most likely not enough.
такое ощущение что я ехал на этом трамвае от границы до столицы.узнал много интересного, что из-за подпочвенных вод растительность в стране агрессор номер один и с ним любая борьба безсмысленна.в стране не растут не бамбук не пальмы. но и полей с картошкой и тюльпанами я не увидел. люди доброжелательные и улыбчивые .....(PS: ролик несколько длиноват но вполне информативный.спасибо).

Hele mooie opname! Hopelijk komen de reguliere tramlijnen in Amsterdam ook nog eens zo op CZcams te staan, ter vervanging van al die rare filmpjes met een fish-eye lens.
Als het weer meezit komt er in ieder geval een stadstour door Amsterdam met een van deze antieke trams.

Dit traject wordt anno 2019 nog altijd beveiligd als een lokaalspoorweg.
Meende dat dit ook eigenlijk een oude Haarlemmermeer spoorlijn was.

Eh, sinds 2015 zijn we een Bijzondere Spoorweg. Lokale spoorwegen zijn sinds die datum de tram- en metrolijnen.

Toen ik regting beverwijk ging rijden met me auto zag ik combino tram boven de brug van het snelweg rijden naast de kerk waar u langs ging rijden kunt u dat volgende keer combino tram als museum filmen 20:39
Die combino is daar eenmalig geweest voor een test rit en zal daar, totdat ze museum wagen worden, niet meer rijden.

These are ''Canta's'', better known as 45 km/h ''cars''. They can go on city streets (no roads that have a limit over 50km/h I believe) and they can drive over bicycle lanes. Alot of older people use them for transportation, and they are motorized.

Prachtige video. Ik wil nog altijd eens het trammuseum bezoeken. Moest ik maar een snel doen. Opvallend: 13:55 De tram staat midden op het wissel en dan wordt het wissel omgelegd. En toch rijdt het achterste rijtuig mee rechtdoor. Hoe kan dat?? En diverse malen is er een blauw bord met een Z erop te zien. Ze lijken op de borden van de NS voor elektrische treinen (stroomafnemer op neer etc). Wat betekenen ze?
De trammetjes hebben een zeer korte wielbasis dus het lijkt alleen maar zo. Wat die Z betekent weet ik niet, iemand anders?

Ja dat is iets dat yt heeft bedacht, ik weet ook niet waarom. Ik weet wel dat jij er een bericht van krijgt, in tegenstelling tot een duimpje geven. Ik gebruik het dan ook om duidelijk te maken dat ik je bericht heb gelezen. In tekst zou dat onbegonnen werk zijn..
Ich denke, dass bei dem "Z" ein neuer Stromabschnitt beginnt.
Het Z-bord geeft aan "zwikpunt". Ik weet niet hoeveel je weet van tramtechniek, dus ik leg het even uit. Trams met sleepbeugels hebben twee manieren om de beugel na rechtsomkeert maken weer tot sleepbeugel te brengen (in plaats van met de beugel stekend tegen de richting in te rijden, wat tot schade leidt).
Je hebt beugels die gezwaaid worden, ofwel horizontaal 180 graden omgedraaid. Bijvoorbeeld bij de Amsterdamse trams. En je hebt beugels die gezwikt worden: dan trekt de conducteur de beugel aan de achterzijde van de wagen omlaag op het moment na rechtsomkeert dat de tram bij het zwikpunt komt (waar het bord staat, de bestuurder geeft het moment aan). Voor dit zwikpunt loopt de bovenleidingdraad een stukje omhoog en erna weer terug. Na dit passeren zet de conducteur de beugel weer tegen de draad, die nu weer sleept in plaats van steekt. We hebben in totaal vier zwikpunten (twee aan de uiteinden van de lijn en twee bij passeerpunten), dus punten waar we rechtsomkeert kunnen maken zonder de tram te keren (kan alleen bij tweerichtingwagens). Jullie reden met de 1024, die met zijn schaarbeugel verder geen beugelwerk nodig heeft, maar die moest natuurlijk wel door de driehoek om in zijn geheel om te keren. We hebben twee trams in gebruik die helemaal geen werk nodig hebben voor rechtsomkeert: tweerichtingen én een schaarbeugel. Dat zijn de 20 van Zeist-Utrecht, en de 507 van Rotterdam.
Haarlemmermeerspoorlijnen? Dit spoor heeft nooit enige connectie met de Haarlemmermeer polder gehad. Het was een onderdeel van een goederen spoorlijn die ter hoogte van Nieuwerbrug (aan de Vecht maar dan aan de overzijde van het Amsterdam-Rijn kanaal) aftakte van de lijn Utrecht-Amsterdam om via oa. Uithoorn naar Amsterdam te lopen met een aftakking naar Aalsmeer. Op het Haarlemmermeer station in Amsterdam zaten (in mijn tijd na 1960) alleen maar kolen handelaren ivm de verwarming amsterdamse huizen.
PS. Er was in die tijd zelfs nog een spoorwegovergang op de A2 (tussen afslag Vinkeveen en Breukelen) om deze treinen de snelweg te laten passeren .
PS2. De huidige brug van de busbaan over de Amstel bij Uithoorn was toendertijd de spoorbrug over de Amstel.
Voor jouw tijd was er een uitgebreid netwerk in de Haarlemmermeer, hier hebben een korte tijd ook reizigerstreinen gereden. Dit stukje spoor is het laatste stuk overgbleven Haarlemmermeerspoorlijn. Check Wikipedia voor meer info.
Deze lijn liep aan via het Uithoornse spoor inderdaad naar Nieuwersluis, en het andere spoor naar Aalsmeer. Daarnaast was er ook een lijn Nieuwersluis-Uithoorn- Aalsmeer- Hoofddorp- Haarlem.

Die overweg bij 25:50, raar dat die bomen weg zijn...
Ik kan me niet meer herinneren waarom die weg zijn. Ik meen me te herinneren dat vandalisme een zodanig probleem was dat uiteindelijk besloten is de bomen weg te halen. Daarnaast zijn ze bij een lokaalspoorweg niet verplicht, dus bellen en lampen voldoen.
Dat heeft te maken met een afspraak met de gemeente Amstelveen. Men had het voorrangsregime rond de fietspaden veranderd. Na een paar gewonde fietsers, is dit project gestopt.
Wat heeft het voorrangsregime daarmee te maken?
Het fietspad is anders komen te liggen. De slagbomen kwamen half op het fietspad.

7,2 kilometer. Je hebt nog tot juni 2020, daarna wordt de lijn een paar jaar ingekort vanwege de verbreding van de A9.
mooie rit en omgeving,alleen jammer dat ze niet een knappe remise hebben zoals in Den Haag,jammer hoor.
In Den Haag en Rotterdam valt het museum onder de vervoersbedrijven. Deze lijn is volledig zelfstandig. En ja, we hopen ooit een plek te krijgen voor een mooie remise.

@@CabviewHolland All of the weeds growing between the tracks. Failing to keep the tracks clear demonstrates a poor maintenance record, and probably the same towards the rolling stock - trains and carriages.
