  • Taken 7/14/23. After seeing the Cannonball and the start of the Rush at Valley Stream, made my way back to Jamaica for more of the Rush before heading back to Ronkonkoma on some M3's with another RFW opportunity. Enjoy the ride!

An annotated video from platform ends at Mineola showing train movements through the sets of turnouts past each end of the station ??? Would you do it ? eg. Both directions of Oyster Bay are now bottlenecked through the north platform only at Mineola; how does that affect movements compared to earlier operations ? Aarre Peltomaa

nice run.. there is no reason why mta slow these trains down coming out of jamaica on the main line. by the time they reach the abandoned hall station, they should be clear for 70mph. Then mta slows these trains down too far out of Hicksville.

there was something ahead at Hicksville. No reason to slow trains to 70 code before Divide-1 unless something's ahead.

@@AaronJrBrundidge i know what they are, they are unnecessary past a certain point. same with coming into hicksville, the slow down is way too soon.

They slow down the trains so there is no derailment
