Seeing all these strange sandwiches reminds me of a weird-sounding bread-related dish we make in the Netherlands sometimes. It's called a ''wentelteefje'' which roughly translates to ''rotating bltch''. You make it by covering a slice of white bread for making toast in pancake batter, and then cooking it like you would a pancake. I usually eat it with cinnamon sugar. It SLAPS man

I was planning to have something other than a sandwich for dinner tonight.
This video has made that plan an impossibility.
I used to work at an Arby's and a guy got served a sandwich with a bolt in it there too. He was in the drive-thru and ordered some kind of roast beef sandwich. Our meat slicer for the roast beef had been having problems for months but rather than get it properly fixed, the owner kept nickel and dime-ing the repairs so nothing worked long-term. One of the bolts that held the blade guard in place fell into the pile of beef slicings and got wrapped up into a sandwich. It took a little while until someone noticed the slicer sounded strange and realized the bolt was gone, and that none of us could find it. "Oh shit, what if the screw got put in someone's food?" someone said. Sure enough, the guy calls our store and says he found a bolt in his sandwich. He was actually very nice and gracious about the whole thing, he said he'll drive back to give us the bolt back and returned about half an hour later. My managers apologize to him and tell him he can get anything off the menu to make up for it. This guy only asked for a replacement sandwich. In fact, he asked for so little that the manager were like "dude, you can get *anything* off the menu, for free, is that really all you want?". Can't blame him for maybe not wanting to chance getting more food after that experience 😅. Doesn't help that one of my managers, upon the guy's return with the offending foos item, she loudly announced to the whole store, sandwich led high, "here's that sandwich with the screw in it!!!". I never heard anything else coming from that ordeal, so I assume he didn't hurt himself by biting it or try to take any legal action.

yall remember uncrustables? the bread was always dry af yet soggy in some areas and either held so much peanut butter your mouth and throat are dying in what feels like quicksand or theres so much jellly you're squeezing it back into the wrapper or else it feels like you're just drinking jelly at that point

As a British person, I only have chip buttys (butties? Whatever) when I have chips from the chip shop. If you’re in the UK find your local chip shop (preferably Whitby’s), get some chips and put it on soft white bread. It slaps

I watched this while making myself a sandwich with hummus, cheese, chicken breast fillet slices, an egg (cooked), avocado and Jalapeños and dude that fckin slaps.
If you cut diagonally, the cut is longer, meaning you lose more sandwich through crumbs. Triangle sandwiches therefore have less sandwich.
Plus, whenever I have triangular sandwiches, they always seem like they’re significantly smaller than rectangular ones. It’s the weirdest bloody thing.
