Nicholas St. North from Rise of the Guardians would definitely be the most powerful Santa. He's a great swordsman, can travel with portals, and protects the world from supernatural threats as a second job. Plus, he's got yetis, and he's built like a brick outhouse. My money would be on him.

@@michaelkowal3230 Taking down Sandman won't weaken RotG Santa? Also, most powerful* Santas rely on the spirit of Christmas which is typically fueled by decorations and children's excitement. Also some Santas are _confirmed_ from their realities, thus bolstering RotG Santa's power (Also how could Santa possibly convince children Santa isn't real- Like think about it, how and why would Santa Claus go and convince children that RotG Santa isn't real and in what universe would that work?)

Classic santa is also very powerful. He cant die of old age and can eat 3.2 billion calories a day. He can also survive going so fast that he travels all across the world in 12 hours. He can also carry a bag filled with enough presents for every family on earth that celebrates Christmas. He’s also extremely stealthy because he’s never been caught by even one curious kid, paranoid full grown person, or just anyone who’s in the room with their Christmas tree at night.

Erm ackshually, we know Santa can withstand eating billions of calories in _one_ day, we can't assume he eats the same amount of food _every_ day. The speed feat is dubious because it's hard to determine whether it's his sleigh and whether or not instant teleportation is involved. Him carrying a bag is dubious as a strength feat because most incarnations are described as having a magic pocket dimension-like space in their bag, thus rendering the weight identical to that of a typical large burlap sack when empty. Lastly, as for Stealth, it's dubious whether or not he's _never_ been caught by a curious kid or anything, also his Speed feat (should it be of his physical body and not through usage of teleportation and/or the sleigh) what simply explain he's Massively FTL+ so there!!! 🤓🤓🤓

4:29 Edmund Gwenn, the actor of this Santa, (and the very first Santa on film) had his urn rediscovered in the vault of Chapel of the Pines, where they've backlogged probably thousands of cremated remains. The CZcams channel Hollywood Graveyard petitioned to get Santa a final resting place, and were successful. He was at an event for some of the children at his church, when one of the little girls asked him what that silver key on his belt is for. "Oh, this is a magical key that opens the front door of any house; that way I can still deliver presents, even if the house doesn't have a fireplace with a chimney..." You know, I like the idea that Rise of The Guardians Santa is the Red one from Russian Santa's version. See, in Russian folklore and tales, there are actually two Santas, or more correctly, Grandfather Freezes - the Blue one and the Red one (Blue Nose Freeze and Red Nose Freeze respectively). The blue one is usually more grim and grumpy and is more of the Winter spirit, meanwhile red one is cheery and kind, the spirit if Holidays. Both blue and red versions can be used to depict Russian Santa a.k.a Ded Moroz, but I like to think about them like they're different people.

In Marvel, mutant Santa Claus is beyond powerful compared to the other Santas. He is supposedly versed enough in magic to even be sorcerer supreme, can manipulate matter on a whim (though he usually uses it to shrink himself into chimneys), can casually wear the infinity gauntlet with pure willpower, can erase the entire world’s memories (as broadly or specifically, such as complete amnesia or just the past hour), and can teleport literally anywhere on Earth. I’m also certain he has a healing factor and immortality. Oh, and he can hop between dimensions. It is widely accepted now that the OP Santa in Marvel is the same OP Santa in DC Comics. On top of that, in all those comics he is the same Santa Claus. Even between continuities and reboots, he survives and moves on. You cannot kill him, you cannot overpower him… and you cannot escape him.
Rise Of The Guardians’ version of Santa is powerful, he definitely takes second, but Marvel/DC Santa Claus is able to contend against gods/god-like beings with minimal effort

Santa from the Powerpuff Girls Fight Before Christmas episode. The Powerpuff Girls was deliberately over the top, and their version of Santa was no exception.
Able to casually grant Kryptonian level super powers to people and depower the same. Can manage his global rounds in seconds rather than needing all night, as seen once he has to correct the problem Princess caused by putting everyone on the Naughty List.
His reaction when he witnesses the fight between Princess and the Powerpuff Girls when Princess tries to convince him that the Powerpuff Girls are the bad guys because they're on the Naughty List is glorious.

DC santa breaks into apokolypse (which exists in a higher dimension btw) every single year, just to give darkseid, an immortal living idea with the power of erasure, just to give him a lump of coal for being naughty. Quite possibly the most powerful santa out there, besides the real santa of course

11:25 now hear me out, If we're talking comic santas, DC's Santa apparently goes to deliver Darkseid a lump of coal in his home planet every year, just to show he can. Also my money is on the RotG Santa cause the man has been shown to fight and actually has weapons at the ready.

  • @JustALittleGhostOfHallownest

Honestly, aside from rise of the guardians being my favorite Christmas movie, I do have a valid argument for supporting him. He is shown to be a competent fighter, is physically stronger than most Santas in this list, has elves AND yetis, has portals, is likely more durable than the human level ones, has fought pitch before, (given how sandy seemingly comes back from the dead) can likely be resurrected due to being a guardian, and most importantly embodies Christmas well. I am very biased, but he still has a chance.

I think Gibson's Santa in "Fatman" would hold up pretty well in the top tier. He's a fighter who knows how to handle firearms and actually battles a trained killer who took out a whole squad of soldiers... as well as all those before him. He survived being shot multiple times (one of them being in the EYE), as well as drinking an overdose level of lethal drugs. When upset, his demeanor alone just screams, "Don't mess with me, or you'll regret it."

The lack of representation for Fatman or ducktales is underwhelming. One's an immortal with super strength and expert marksmanship, the other has a gem that slows time. Both are pretty good contenders since any death dealt to the Fatman will be undone in a few minutes, while the super speed ducktales Santa has will be super useful in that fight

One Santa I want to see join this is the Rankin/Bass Kris Kringle from Santa Claus is Comin' To Town. He is incredibly agile being able to "leap like a deer, climb like a squirrel, and be as slippery as a seal" and he has a magic snow globe that he can look into to see other people, which would be pretty handy in a fight as he would always know what anyone else was up to, and and, he also has a Winter Warlock friend who can create blizzards, just saying that sounds pretty helpful in fight.
Also, if we're including Father Christmas as well, then I would like to add The Ghost of Christmas Present from Dickens's A Christmas Carol into this mix (because yes, he was meant to be evocative of Father Christmas both in personality and appearance.) This guy is a giant, can fly without the use of reindeer, is a literal time traveler, and has a torch which can influence people's emotions, he could literally just manipulate all the other Santas into giving up the fight. Granted I guess he does technically die once the year is over, so I guess all the others could just prolong the fight, but he does over 1800 brothers that can take his place.
