Womp, finishing the series is one thing for me, but feeling the end of it is something almost impossible. Especially CRY!!! I don't usually cry at the end of a movie or series. This was good story telling.

I'm trying to play this as my senior piece, and my orchestra teacher says that he's been practicing for forty years and won't let me play it until I get the beginning notes. I'm only playing this particular arrangement, but damn. The person who played this OWNED it, because that opening alone is extremely difficult.

Adin Montez I gave him the edited sheet music (this version) so he knew I was playing a shortened version. I actually wound up playing Bach's Air at the concert though anyway.

I’ve been playing the violin for a year and a half and I listen to this like, one day I’m going to have a performance somewhere and play this version of Kreutzer instead for the normal one and shock everyone like Kaori. Then I come back to reality like, nahhhhh.
She played the full version, they just shortened it because a 10 minute performance doesn't fit in an anime. You can tell by the fragmented pieces of the other performers.

Kreutzer, Kaori's versión was short but even the best... Kaori shows her talent to play violín
Too bad her version was just as long. They cut it up because a 10 minute song is too long for a show. In the show for other violinists it shows different parts of the piece. And if her pianist quit because of the twist, she wouldnt agree to change the piece to shorten it.
She shortened it because life was shortened for her, that’s what I like to think. She added her own twist and made it her own short and full of emotion and power it’s amazing.
It’s a piece, not a song. A song has lyrics, a piece does not

- La Mer (symphony) --> I strongly recommend this
Or some Bach? Listen to Chaconne and Double Violin Concerto in D Minor, or maybe Mass in B Minor and Fugue and Tocatta in D Minor.
Or Tchaikovsky? Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy, Violin Concerto in D Major
Or Liszt? Liebestraum, La Campanella, Hungarian Rhapsody No 2

Lol when I attempted to practice this piece, I snapped my E string when I did the pizzicato chords at 1:24 - 1:30 . It whipped me in the wrist, so I guess Ling Ling was trying to say, "Not yet, not yet, calm down" and punished me for not practicing my scales.

When I first saw kaori play...it’s like I was hearing music for the first time...So Beautiful...so...free...It reached me...and I held onto it...and never let go...I carry her memory with me...I because she inspired me...Kousei inspired me...they together...are my symphony...my music...she pulled me out of that dark place...and into the light...into the world of music...note by note song by song I will play for them so that...maybe one day I can reach someone...to inspire...like they did for me...

I’m learning the piano for this, and though I have been playing for more than 10 years, yet I still find it INCREDIBLY difficult. Cutting a 40-minute piece to only two and a half minutes may seem like a huge relief but trust me-it really isn’t. All of the technical stuff in the piano and violin are extremely advanced! I hope I can play this with my classmate someday (if we can even learn it properly in the first place lol).
This is so damn amazing I was blown away at how they transformed Beethoven into this modern and beautiful piece of art!

A reason why I watched Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, is to see anime violin passion.
This specific video is always stuck to my recommendations, even though I play it ever day. Usually, or rather, every time I play a video it gets blasted into obscurity, never to be seen again, or popping up again after a few months. Its like the algorythm doesnt want me to forget about its existence. So now I play this piece ever day after briefly scrolling through my recommendations, so that it doesnt eventually disappear.

Fun yet sadly true fact: the author of this anime wanted Kaori to live but unfortunately couldn’t change it to the “good ending” as he already told the animation company about what he wanted before he changed his mind.

me and my friend have been working on this beautiful piece (this exact excerpt in fact) for the talent show, and, as we are both weebs, we literally almost cry every time we practice, but its still worth it cuz it feels like we’re honoring her memory and i can’t get enough of it.

But this is the exact recording, but thank goodness I found this.The exact duration of the recording is 12:27, So Kaori's performance is only 2:33, but it's really great to hear this part, same recording.For me Yuna Shinohara-san's violin breathes, It talks to us, It actually reached us: Very brilliant!
