MacPro 5,1 usb 3.0 card upgrade

Just changed out the usb 3.0 card on my Mac Pro .The one that was in there when I got it was reading in system preferences but would not read anything I plugged into it .So i grabbed one off amazon for $35 that is out of the box compatible with Mac OS X
