- Back in December of 2020 Justin and Mark drag raced their daily drivers to see which is faster. At that time Mark's 1995 BMW 540i was faster. Since then Justin has been planning a comeback for his 1993 Ford Lightning. And it just arrived...

Can't wait to ride in it after that beast is put in!
You're choking the hell out of that engine with that upper and lower intake
I agree with you on the surface of your statement. But how this engine is build and the purpose that it will be used along with that intake is not in stock form.
This set up will work great.
I ported my upper and lower, swapped to 220cc afr heads and stroked my 351w to a 408...I just had to keep the nostalgia of the intakes though knowing that's the choke point. Time will tell if it just too much to take and I change out mine.
Send the intake to Bigdogs Porting, they’ll get that GT40 to flow extremely well.
Been there done that... hopefully they've improved communication and lead times.
Any update? Would love to see the progress.
Thanks for check in.
Not much going on with this right now. Still waiting on a few parts.
Been working on the 56 5spd install. When that's done, will start on the stroker install.
Can you please elaborated on where you got the egr block off and dummy plug also the mega squirt pkg link would be great. I have a 93 515 made rebuilding now.
TB set is from Accufab. Look under the Mustang section.
ordered engine from Jegs 4 months ago they said 4 weeks when ordered wasted my whole summer waiting because Jegs could not get parts .
I hear ya. It took right at a year to get this one. Parts should be getting a little easier to get lately.
Good luck on you build. Keep us posted.
