Just a bunch of guys that have been hanging out together since before we were driving.
Now....We are still doing the same thing just with some of the toys we dreamed about when growing up.
Just recently we decided to document some of the stuff we do.
The name?
Well that came about while sitting around a campfire drinking a few adult beverages reflecting on some of the things we should have done on previous projects. That was around 15 years ago. We would have started this CZcams channel then .... but CZcams was not a thing.

I took the cluster loose in my 65 Dart GT 273 and grounded it,Still had the fusible link thankfully,it did its job and burned the wire in 2.Yes,I put the fusible link back in.Still not ideal but works.
Just curious, why drop the engine out instead of taking off the hood and raising It out???
Great job explaining all this. Thank you for doing the dial indicating procedure and showing this perfectly. For those watching, this is THE one step that must be done correctly. These Tremec's feature tighter tolerance machining than our older 833's, which can take .015 run out with ease.
Nice do they have this setup for a 3/4 D200
This thing is SICK!
I have a 70 d200 and it has power steering that was installed by the previous owner, it’s a power assist ram type. The ram was leaking so I had it rebuilt. I bled the system no bubbles no noice but steering is a little easier left but right is very hard. I have no idea what’s wrong. Do you have a link to the parts you bought?
Damn!! That thing looks amazing! Love the stance! Gonna be a great street car. Can't wait to catch a ride in it! The coolest thing, in my opinion, is that you will probably NEVER pull up next to another one at a show or cruise night!
Looks like our '37 Plymouth Rumble Seat Coupe!
Same bodies, Just afew differences in fenders and grilles. Rumble seat cars are a rarity.
Hella good job. Looks great. How did you keep the cap still when polishing?
I screwed two wood blocks to the MDF that were the inside diameter of the hubcap. At times the polisher would get the cap to spin a bit, but worked really well.
Just found your channel ? Will be watching more of your content.
Great truck I have a 59f100
Nice truck is that the OEM height?
No. I removed a few leaf springs in the front and added a drop shackle in the rear.
😎👍🏻😎
That truck is lucky to have u!
Thanks for the informative video, I own a 1968 Charger that we use in film to do stunts with. We keep blowing off belts either with the clutch fan or straight engine driven fan. This happens frequently when the director asks for the desired high RPM shifts! This is probably the best fix we could do. Definitely will keep a few spares too.
Nice truck but some serious rust that negates going the patina route in my opinion.
I'm currently building a 69 D100. Planning on using your front suspension and a Gen 3 hemi with an 8 speed. I would love to talk to you about this build. It would answer some questions I have about mine.
Ray Austin, you are an absolute badass. Meant what I said…. This guy EARNED his Long Hauler.
Protect this man at all costs
Good Morning, Guys! Why limit yourself to only 2 Tour vehicles? We have 3 that continuously fuss about going until we are back, THEN, they want to Cooperate!
I am probably the only one in the group that has this opinion… and I struggle with it- so many good cars to choose from… hard to limit it. I’m over my limit now and struggling with it -my Roadrunner and the D100 are probably lifers and my Wagoneer is really cool… it would be even better with a late model hemi…. Sooooo many choices and so little time/money! Thanks for watching!
I think the theory behind the 2 car rule is you drive one and work on the other. If you have more than 2 you are possibly working on more than one "upgrade" at a time, splitting time and money.
@@HyndzyteEngineering I'm also 'stockpiling projects' as they come available for my approaching retirement! 👍😊👍
Beautiful car
Great dtuff
That old Ford looks cool
That dodge was CLEAN! I talked to him at Beech Bend
The Ford gasser guys - to me they display the spirit of what HRPT is. These guys were great to talk to, had ZERO fear about driving this car from NY, AND had a sense of humor. TBH, when I first saw him in the lobby (he was wearing the helmet in the hotel) I thought he had lost a bet or was part of some first-timer rules from another group .. awesome to see someone driving a car that was not easy to be in... because they LOVE IT. HOPE TO SEE YOU GUYS NEXT YEAR!
Wheel and tire sizes?
This inspired me to get to work on my 79 custom. Thanks
❤ to you and your wing man
Nice
Hope to see you guys in Louisville on Wednesday afternoon!
Man, I’m missing you boys this year! We met in Memphis and you posted my mercury/Marauder tribute. Appreciated that. Have a great trip I’ll be watching and sharing.!!
I remember the Marauder tribute! I enjoyed filming it and talking to ya. We love a big car! Thanks for watchin!
Glad to see yall made it with no issues 😅
Got to hang with You guys at the Fairfield and had Great time! 👍👍👍👍
Same here! Sorry we missed your cookout.
@@HyndzyteEngineering We ended up at the Sheraton Music City hotel and you had to have a Room Key Card just to get in the parking lot! Still served up 18 cheeseburgers and 10 dogs. I ended up cooking the rest of them Thursday night. We've started a tradition of burning Burgers and Dogs on the Second night of the Tours! Hope to see You Guys on the Tour next Year!!!
Power thru boys!!! Keep kickin a$$!
Why did you keep changing what the actually angle of parts and put different numbers on your spreadsheet. Very confusing.
Sorry it was so confusing. I was trying to show the impact of adding different pinion shims.
Only CZcamsr I need
We have ended up going with 'Plan C' '03 Grand Caravan again. The '47 had Too many things keep popping up, the '49 Packard keeps fighting me, so, Momma said that she was Ok with taking her van. Good A/C, etc!
It seems like issues always come up right before power tour. Did we meet in Bowling Green? If so it was great meeting you!!!
We were at the Fairfield @@HyndzyteEngineering
Thank you for the video. I just bought a d200 and appreciate any information.
Great to hear!
What wire gauge would you recommend for the alternator to battery by-pass cable?
Great video and thanks for not adding any stupid music to it and letting the cars do the talking
Great truck. I just found your channel last night and watched the entry re Sweptline series.
Thanks for watching! My Sweptline work was interrupted by a move and fleet reduction… but I’m still pursuing the dream - it’s just with a different truck than I started with. Look for us on HRPT ‘24 rolling with several others from Hyndzyte doing the Long Haul.
You're killin it!! Can't wait to hop in at the Nashville stop on the Power Tour!
Did the 70s come with disc brakes in the front or did you swap them with something? Or is there a kit?
I have a 1970 Dodge Truck brochure from back in the day, and standard equipment says, "Self-adjusting brakes". Looks like Power Brakes was an option, but it says nothing about disc brakes. I have the disc brake conversion kit from Scarebird. Took me a bit to get it dialed in, but now I am very happy with it. Thanks for watching!!!
That harness looks nice!!!
Thanks Cam
Did you do a cut in before spraying the whole car? If so, do you have a video of that work?
Yes I cut in. Hood, trunk, doors were off. I think there is a video of it. I will look through our archives to see if I can find it. Unfortunately we can’t publish everything we record
No longer available 😪
They are coming out with a new one
What processor will you be using for this set up?
Megasquirt / PimpxShift from Stinger Performance.
Just got done doing my kit and I did not run my brake line through there. I actually ran it around the front on the lower side and built a bracket that bolted on the lower front mounting bolt. It drapes perfectly and clearance is perfect
That was plan b. How long are your lines?
18” lines. I 90° out of the back of the caliper toward the front. Worked absolutely perfect.
I think the new trans for Mopar bolt pattern. fits the poly Polys are so so cool, I seen one on engine masters 408 stroker 520 h.p.
Cant wait to see this truck on the ground!!!!
Question-did dodge ever make a 1970 d200 step side truck ?
Interesting question. I was able to find one for sale on Hemmings. www.hemmings.com/listing/1970-dodge-d200-968755 I also read something about long wheel base stepsides being used for government issue trucks. The one for sale was a park department truck.
