My dear "perverted" ex husband used to say that to me.
"You HAVE to submit to me."
When I got wiser in the Lord....
I would say "I will submit to you when you submit to God!" (Did submit to him in everything that was not against God's Word.)
He never did. It's been 28 years that we have been divorced. He's still the same but I haven't given up on his salvation. ☺️
