I got mine today and the stabs are perfect except the spacebar, a lot of ticking. I swapped the stabs out with another one (mmd princess stab) and now its perfect :D
A really great board with thocky, poppy and creamy sound

I wish we could get more anodized color options like this for this board. My only nitpick for leobog is that they colors usually look a bit mushy and not as premium as other brands.

Wonderful, really waiting for this red CNY version + you really change it to fr4 for creamy clack that sounds so good 😆,, thank you so much for this.
Btw, this aluminum surface finishing red CNY version, is it the same smooth surface as white/ green/ blue/ yellow/ iridescent blue color (electrophoresed) or like black color surface (anodised) or even like pink color (sprayed)? I hear the electrophoresed is the batch 2 version and have smoother surface than black color (first batch).

they both are really good boards
the sound profile on both is also quite similar.
hi8 does do a better job with allowing each switch to have its own unique sound, but the difference between the sound profiles is very minimal
the main difference between the two would be the look and anodising

the hi8 does not support pcb mount stabs, if they're platemount then they should work! although i'd recommend you save your money and not get such expensive aftermarket stabs because the stock leobog ones are already really good!
