I'm glad she was caught, and I'm glad that both Brad and Kim say this wouldn't stop them from being giving and charitable people... I hate seeing 2 kind hearted people get scammed......
That's an absolutely warped, unconscionable hoax, but I give the Paisleys credit for responding with love and compassion the way they did while they believed it to be true. This only goes to show what incredible hearts they have.
Good grief! Listen to the voice of the "kid" on the phone. It's obviously a grown woman faking a child's voice.

This made me sick and brokenhearted! I was the victim of a scam that cost me hundreds of dollars and lost documents.

I don't comprehend the whole thing except that she is really lonely from her past. I hope you figure out her trauma..its somewhere in there...looks like childhood. It's emotional, something. I'm going to guess a childhood close friend she never got past...I'd find out who died when she was little and never got over...The fact that Christmas Shoes, was a film sends up a marker. The boy is little and the girl needs to get help to get past whomever she felt wasn't given much, in life. I'm sorry but you guys probably have helped her lost pain, it's seriously affected her life.
We aren't celebrities, but we had this type of thing happen to us. Only the woman we were online friends with, faked her own death. Then went on various sites badmouthing us because I was crushed when I found out the truth. She said I (ME!) was not a real friend. :)
OH YES the DARK SIDE TRUELY IS OUT THERE. people can hide behind a computor and really do sad, bad things to others and don't care about what kind of damage they do

Thanks for sharing and yes scary for the parents and the kids and the celebrities and non-celebrities that have there identity or privacy stolen I don't care which way you look at it I say yes to better laws for all to be safe social media can be a good thing but be careful not to tell your story you never know who is paying attention that you might not want to. Also beware of people saying they are celebrities and trying to meet you etc. I also have had people on Facebook messenger asking to accept a request from them I question I look to see if we have any mutual friends if we do I ask them if they know them if I do accept I don't say anything about me listen to there question how I am to respond or immediately block on messager and Facebook as well so they can't see me. The world needs to change and get God back in there life stay strong.
