would you mind sharing why you sand when you are using chalk paint? I thought that was one of the reasons to use chalk paint.
I’m getting ready to do 6 chairs and I’m thinking about getting a sprayer now. The link is broke in your description. What is the make and model of the paint sprayer?
I’m so lost I have the Wagner flexio 5000 and I just dont understand what I’m doing wrong? Anything I spray comes out with heavy heavy texture. I want a mist so that I can get that seemless paint coverage. I’ve tried both my paint flow and my air power on super low, right in the middle, and way up high --and no matter what I get a eggshell texture. I’ve looked on CZcams tirelessly trying to solve this and I can’t find out what I’m doing wrong. Do you have any ideas what it could be? Or what I may be missing?
So now that you have used the paint sprayer, which method would you prefer, brushing the paint or spraying it? As you have said that the spraying is the fun part, but all of the precautionary preparations for over-spray and cleaning the equipment would sometimes make the brushing method more preferable.
Personally, I prefer brushing on most projects. I find painting to be very relaxing. The exceptions would be anything with spindles or a large scale project (kitchen cabinets) where spraying would be worth the time and effort for all the set up. 😀

I want to paint my bathroom cabinets and was thinking of using a sprayer so it looks more finished. I am afraid it will look like a 5 year old did it if I paint them with a brush! ;) How do you know how much water to add to the paint? Good luck on your move to Boston. We lived there for 10 years. Thank you so much for your videos, these are super helpful. I'm gearing up to paint our 90's kitchen table and chairs (with spindles) I went ahead and got the HomeRight SuperMax sprayer for the job. Which of the two sprayers did you like best?
So I see u recommend Dixie bell white lighning as a cleaning agent. Will vinegar suffice or just dish liquid and water suffice?
