Patty thanks for sharing dude! Did my first real estate fly thru yesterday using your settings and it was awesome! Trippy feeling the sticks with the throttle limit but I quickly adjusted and got a hang of it. Thanks again!
Happy it worked out man!! 👍👍
Just tested these settings on my cinelog...absolutely fantastic!
Really??? Awesome dude! Happy to hear that
Nice tutorial and flying. If you still want to have air mode at low throttle , you can map it to the same channel as your throttle and set it to only come on when the throttle is low. Then it won't get sucked into the wall at normal throttle level.
Good to know!!
wow man i just built a cinewhoop and this rates are smooooothh. thank you
Excellent! Glad to hear!!
Thanks for the settings! I used them on my Pavo 20 and they worked great! 🙂
Awesome glad to hear it!
Great video, I love shooting tight gaps with my meteor75 and just graduated to the Cinelog20 with the DJI 03 .
Damn, I just tested now in my tiny apartament and it's a blast, thank you for sharing !
Great!! Glad to hear it.
Great video. I've been having problems for months and this was a big help. Thank you. 👌
Happy to hear it helped!
Great vid and flying!!
Thank you Greg!
Thank you for the tutorial. I follow your tutorial step by step, and set my geprc cinelog 25. Its work, easy hovering and flying compared with the default setting
Awesome! 👏
Great tips, I will try them on the whoop I'm about to build :)
Awesome!!
thank you friend. Your settings helped me for my first FPV Pavo20. Of course, I didn't start using the PIDsettings. I also realized that I need to buy high-quality batteries (mine are low in amps) and calibrate Tango.
Glad I could help! Happy flying bro!!😎
great guide from A to Z, it will stay for longer 😉
Awesome! Stay as long as you like :)
`CRACK!!! idolo
Just being able to yaw in a bathroom with anything other than a tinywhoop is pretty good
Great video man, ty. Did the GNB 1100 weigh your Cine-25 down a lot? What were your flight times on both with your new settings?
Thanks man! The cinelog25 can handle the bigger battery it’s fine, though it gets a little louder. I think about 4 min on 720 and 6 minute on the 1100.
Thanks for this informative video! I was able to tweak a lot of my settings in angle mode based on your advice, much appreciated! I do have one question though if you could assist - Everything is flying really slow and smooth in angle mode with the added ff feature but I have tried many setting changes to keep my throttle from bobbing up and down including the reference from your video pertaining to the throttle curve and expo. No matter what I do, I still have a slight movement up and down and can't seem to relax the throttle. It really comes through on the naked go pro footage as the horizon of an indoor atmosphere is moving up and down even after stabilization. Are there any extra tips you have that I can mess around with to get the perfect flight feel. Thanks in advance and for all you do for our hobby!
Thanks man!! Hmmm have you tried putting another pass of stabilization using reel steady? I also shoot at 4:3 if that helps and drop it into a 16:9 setting. Possibly you can do some manual key framing too if you need to fix something. For me though a lot of it is practicing as well to prevent the bobbing. I also use hq 6 bladed props for a consistent smooth feel. having less bladed props (like 3) may make the quad perform more jumpy. Let me know!
Hi Pat! Thanks for the tuturial. If you switch from Angle to Horizon or Acro, will all the settings I have on my Actual Rates apply to the squad or the Rates changes to whatever is the default on those other Angle modes?
Yes I believe it will apply the rates to any mode. So acro will still be “slow rates” what I do is turn on expert mode and go to adjustment tabs and assign rate profile settings 1 and 2 to a rocker switch. So rocker position 1 is slow rates with angle or something for example. And Position 2 is normal rates with acro etc.
@@PattyFlipz Wow, that's fantastic information! I had noticed the profile options but wasn't sure how to utilize them. I'll definitely check them out and make use of them. I had thought that my rates would only apply to Angle and not impact the other modes. Thanks again 🙏🏼
thx !!!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy!
Have an eye out for BF 4.5. The devs have reworked Angle mode to make yaw behave differently, more like Air mode. I installed a pull request they did for BF 4.4 and can tell you it makes Angle mode much better in small spaces.
I fly 2S/3S, 2-inch whoops, massing up to 125g. I only use Angle mode, with the motor power reduced by 50% or so, depending. I've worked out a throttle curve that puts most of the available power _under_ my thumb. The drone ascends very gently this way, and it rarely sucks itself to things, even with Air mode engaged.
My BF throttle settings are very different than yours, and I also use a custom curve for the throttle on my transmitter. But it appears our different approaches achieve the same end: smooth control in small spaces. Nice job.
Good to know! Thanks for the comment!
Bro, so in your opinion BF for indoors is better than BF 4.5 ? Tks!
Any advice for the cinelog 30, or would these apply? ✌🏴
Hi, I’m not too sure. You can start with some of the concepts and try it out.
Hello friend, how are you? I have tested your configuration and it works great indoors. Can you tell me what configuration you have on the Go Pro?
Glad to hear it worked out for you :) I use -0.5 ev. ISO 100~800 and auto for shutter and white balance. 4K 60fps 4:3. Colour: Flat. Highest bit rate. Sharpness I think is normal. Hypersmooth On (normal) angle: wide - Let me know how it goes :)
Ok thank You
thanks for the settings. one question .....Does your Cinelog25 drift if you try to keep it hovering???? i just got one and it keeps drifting during the pack more and more .
Oh did you try putting it on a level table and calibrating the accelerometer? Also the battery placement matters too. Strap your battery in as center as possible to the balance of your quad. If the battery is too much to one side strapped on, quad may be effected and drift towards that direction.
@@PattyFlipz thanks for the response. Yes i did a good calibration and carfully placed the battery on it. Yesterday i the drone with Betaflight 4.4.3 (my Cinelog25 was running 4.3.1) and this really helped dramatically keeping the drone more stable in hovering .What version of Betaflight you are using ?
@OscarTheProfessor I’m using 4.2 😂 glad to hear the different version worked for you.
Hello, is just applying the rate in the air enough to fly around? I only fly for acro and I wouldn't want too much substance, currently I fly cinelog 25v2 but the same goes for health insurance which alone cannot be good enough for good to fly
Hi Sorry, I don't understand your question, please write in your own language, I'll translate it myself.
sorry, I think I have a dictionary on my phone because I don't understand the previous comment 😂
@@PattyFlipz Can the rates you provided in the video be used in acro mode and fly stably indoors without major changes? Is it necessary to set all the options shown in the video to angle mode so that the indoor flight is stable and slow as in your video?
I'm asking because so far I've only flown in acro mode and I don't want to make too many changes, but I really want a smooth, stable indoor flight.
@BaksteRollFPV the rates in the video should be ok in acro mode indoor. 👍 just give it all a try and adjust from there 👍
Hello what the difference between actual rate and beta flight rate ? Bc before i actually adjust the actual rate only.
Hi, I found this article for you to read. oscarliang.com/rates/#:~:text=Betaflight%20Rates%2C%20unlike%20Actual%20Rates,continue%20to%20rely%20on%20them.
@@PattyFlipz thank you sir .
also, you drone might drift on hover if your PIDs aren't correct. its not always just the calibration of the FC
Very cool! Good tip!
No, that's not what PID's are or what the they do. They are the algorithm between your stick inputs and the motors. You should have a look at some PID tuning video's to make your kwad fly even better. For stuff like this it doesn't really matter, because stick tracking and the 'feel' of the kwad doesn't really matter.
@@justfpv1432 Thanks guys! Appreciate the back and forth!
Do you mind to share how much you charge for that kind of work?
Hi! Well, for me, I'd recommend to start at $75 ~ $100 per hour. When you do enough of them, then you know how much time will be spent on location and how much time in the editing room, and you can easily give them a quote based on the size of the home.
Hello, from what I have experienced the angle strength is how much the self levelling is. So it doesn't affect the strength to fight the wind. If you turn it to 0 your angle mode will feels like acro.
But yes it is true for angle limit the lower it is the lower the strength to fight the wind.
Interesting! which bf version? For my cinewhoop it was 4.2 so I wonder either I got it wrong or would love to try it again on the newer versions and different cinewhoop to see if I get your results just for fun. Thank you for the comment
I am sorry for my late response, I thought I already responded but I thing I discarded the reply because somebody call me or something 😅
It is Betaflight 4.4.3. I am aware of this because I am in the process of learning to fly indoor in acro mode, one youtuber said we can use angle strength as a practice tool and that is what I did. I start it from 30 and reduce it to 5 and in 5 its almost feels like acro, and after use it quite some times now I fly indoors acro. If you use 32 then as far as I know you use 32% of angle mode. 0 will make it 0% angle mode which means acro mode.
@@ulungprabowo Thank you! I haven't tried it yet, but makes logical sense!
I just tested this and my batteries burn out really fast; only 2 min flight time ever since i used this and my motor gets really hot
Oh that’s too bad. What kind of set up you using?
geprc cinelog 20@@PattyFlipz
Ah ok. Yeah go back to geprc defaults. The tutorial is for cinelog 2.5” with an action camera, quite a bit heavier than your cinelog20 , maybe by 60 grams, and prop size and motor pairing makes a big difference in thrust and efficiency. Though I think at least the angle mode settings , rates, throttle expo and scale would translate over fine. Ignore anything related to pids in the video etc. hope you figure something out for your cinelog20! 👍
Update my motor was actually broken
