I remember watching this as a child, so beautiful, I remember the original Dubliners, and after losing Christy, Sinead and Shane and watching John Sheehan at Shane's funeral, the last man standing, may he live long and prosper, an absolute legend in his own right ❤❤❤❤
Winnie Wallace..Mr Sheehan ,thank you for this. Very few people can give something that will be cherished by so many. You have been given that gift. The Marino waltz, an absolute treasure.
God bless Ireland 🇮🇪 this brings so many good memories even lucky enough to have briquettes me mother always had a blaring fire and bnm Offaly briquettes staring out
Great tune Marino still looks the same but how Dublin Ireland has Changed in the intervening years since 1987 its 2020 now I fear we are in for big changes next year
Dublin, like every city changes from one day to the next. 1770 was never going to be like 1870, likewise completely different to 1970, undoubtedly it'll be entirely different again in 2070. Change is the only constant.

The only tune I can dance to. So simple. So beautiful.
Wonderful melody!
A very lucky audience.
Have you ever heard such a nice Irish tune.
I remember watching this live.
My Dad's favourite tune. x
Beautiful tune..
Always surprises me how the backing usually fails the first few turns of this beautiful waltz. Fantastique boquette.

You hardly have any footage of Luke Kelly or anything from the Dubliners television programme on RTÉ from the early ‘70s?
