    Thanks for the video, fyi facepose is not available on the app store (or maybe just in the US) I'll have to hack my waves nx.

      Thanks! Nuendo can, sort of, do that, but not in the Dolby Atmos workflow. Would indeed be nice if they include it in Cubase/Nuendo.

    Great man !! I tryed to find this option in my Nuendo 12 pro, but I guess Steinberg is a bit behind, but I hope they will do it in a update soon. Thanx again for explaining me and getting me into the Dolby SAtmos thing. I do have a 7.1.4 studio with speaker setup, but this is a great thing when I´m on the road touring and so.. So again - Thank you so much, and I did by the way mention your channel in my "Dolby Atmos Studio" setup video here on CZcams :-) Keep them coming mr. Michael 🙂

    Very cool! Would love to see a workflow with FacePoseHeadTracker and Logic Pro or Resolve Fairlight (without the standalone Dolby Atmos Renderer). I imagine that it'll require sending out the tracks to Virtuoso or something like it.

    great insights as always! when do you expect high end headphones like the wireless HED Unity to be headtracking-compatible with the renderer? Currently very excited, that studio one got a major atmos update and now im hoping that i can make use of the wireless headtracking goodness. Thanks in advance

      I was thinking of looking into this. They do exist. For this purpose it would not help though since you can use the external renderer workflow only on a Mac anyway.

    Hi Michi! Wie immer sehr informatives Video! ich malch mal english weiter: I wonder whether this would work with the apple iPods Max too, as they have inbuilt head-tracking... Have you stumbled upon any information about this during your research?

    • @michaelgwagner
      @michaelgwagner  Před 10 měsíci

      Vielen Dank! The Airpods are pretty much locked to Logic. Reading out the tracking info is possible (I did a video about this a while back), but it is very difficult to make use of that tracking info outside of Apple’s own software.

    Dear Mr. Wagner thank you for your videos about the dolby atmos technology, they are very interesting.

      @michaelgwagner  Před 10 měsíci

      This is something I do not know tbh. My understanding is that Atmos is primarily a streaming format, but I could be wrong. For DVD or Blue Ray you would have to render in the fotmats this media support.

      Depends what you use it for. In principle, yes. However, in order to use the renderer in a production environment you need a Mac. On Windows you can only use it to play back Atmos master files.
