My dad is from ny, outside of the city so i grew up a rangers fan and still am to this day. We are the other team that have already clenched the playoffs this year for the metropolitan division. Back in '92 Domi got the better of Probert in the first fight. When their rematch came around all of hockey, especially Don Cherry on Hockey Night in Canada, was talking about it. Probert pounded him in the rematch at MSG, which is was the fight seen in this video. It was insane back then. It's so sad to see the lack of physicality in the game today.
I saw that Bruins game where Terry O'Reilly went into the stands and beat up a fan. It started because that fan tried to get a Bruin's stick and that fan hit and drew blood on the player Stan Jonathan. After that the Boston players took matters into their own hands.

The brawl between the Flyers and Canadiens (#4 fight) was before the game started. The fight started during warm-ups. The guy you were saying no one wanted a part of was Dave Brown, one of the baddest men in hockey.
The Red Wings had Bob Probert and Joey Kocur. They were called the bruise Brothers. Bob Probert was the best fighter in hockey at the time. Kocur was good too! I once saw him knock a guy out with one punch. Darren McCarty was no slouch either.
I got Kocur’s autograph when i was a kid, the thing I remember most about the encounter was how completely mangled his right hand was. He’d punch a helmet straight off of your head without a second thought.
There was a fight once where a fan was leaning over the glass into the penalty box yelling and chirping a player “ty domi is believe” and the glass gave out and the fan fell in the box and then the player started fighting the fan🤣 there’s been a few times the players with full equipment on have jumped into the stands and started fighting the fans😭🤣

Bob Probert for the Red Wings #24 was an absolute beast. Old school enforcer drafted to protect Steve Yzerman. You should look up some of his fights. Back in the day when there were real heavy weights. Tie Domi was a tough SOB as well.
The wings/ Avs goalies is not the same fight as "the brawl in Hockeytown". I think it was the next season, and it was Osgood in goal for the Wings in this. The other one had Mike Vernon as the Wing's goalie. P.s. Bob Probert was probably the best fighter in the NHL all time, and while he was with the Wings, we also had the hardest hitting fighter Joe Kocur. If you want to watch more of the Duo, there's video compilations of Probert/Kocur and they were called the bruise Brothers while they were here together.

The fights were so much better back in the 70s in the pre-helmet, bench-clearing brawl era, and even into the 80s. Some good ones here but they missed a ton of great ones from that era. They've cleaned a lot of that up in today's game. Very few true enforcers left in the league.
